Publication number: 20110125522Abstract: A system for accrediting physicians based on pre-determined best practices by examining the records for a subset of the physician's patients as measured against a set of criteria for the desired accreditation. The system provides a mechanism for automatically extracting patient records from a physician's electronic health records (EHR) system, thus minimizing the risks of data entry error and minimizing the risk of physician falsification of data. The system also provides security and privacy in order to avoid the malicious theft or accidental disclosure of patient records. The system further allows physicians to review and approve a submission before it is finally copied into the review system, allowing for correction of a submission where, for example, the wrong patient was included. The system also isolates patient data so that no user of the system has access to confidential information, apart from the physician.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 8, 2011Publication date: May 26, 2011Applicant: NATIONAL COMMITTEE FOR QUALITY ASSURANCEInventors: Robert E. Publication number: 20090276817Abstract: Methods and systems for presenting enhanced previously recorded broadcasted or streamed content are provided. Example embodiments provide an Enhanced Content Display System “ECDS,” which supports the management and presentation of previously recorded program content in a non-linear fashion and allows subscribers, using a variety of techniques, to specify which portions of programs or other content is of interest. In one embodiment, an ECDS-enabled Music Browser application includes an Intelligent Media Data Server (“IMDS”) that generates enhanced meta-data that are associated with portions of the broadcasted or streamed news-related content. Using the generated enhanced meta-data and auxiliary recorded content, the Music Browser presents music-related content along with related content segments that enrich the viewer experience.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 11, 2009Publication date: November 5, 2009Applicant: Vulcan Inc.Inventors: David J. Patent number: 7121830Abstract: A method for collecting data relating to human performance skills and/or attributes comprising the steps of creating a questionnaire relating to the human performance skills of a target individual and establishing a rating scale for responses to the questionnaire. The rating scale comprises a dual sided continuum. The middle point on the dual sided scale is associated with the proper amount of the performance skill. The markers on the first side of the dual sided scale are associated with exhibiting too much of the human performance skill and the markers on the other side of the dual sided scale are associated with increased intensity of the human performance skill. Preferably, pairs of questionnaire elements are generated that relate to opposing but complementary performance skills to exhibit the individual's versatility in terms of dichotomies. The questionnaire results are compiled and a report is generated that that displays the results.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2002Date of Patent: October 17, 2006Assignee: Kaplan Devries Inc.Inventors: Robert E.
