    Abstract: A windscreen wiper comprises a carrier adapted for mounting on a windscreen wiper arm and for supporting a pair of spaced parallel wiping lips which, in use, together with the windscreen surface bound a space into which cleaning fluid can be introduced and a brush or plastics material step device in said space, the cross-sectional area of the carrier being constant throughout its length.
