  • Patent number: 10955802
Abstract: A mechanical input/output selector is disclosed. The mechanical input/output selector can include a first terminal for a first transmission line. The mechanical input/output selector can also include a plurality of second terminals for a plurality of second transmission lines. The mechanical input/output selector can further include a first displacement device operable to selectively position the first terminal proximate to any one of the plurality of second terminals. Additionally, the mechanical input/output selector can include a second displacement device operable to move the first terminal relative to the plurality of second terminals to alternately connect and disconnect the first terminal and one of the plurality of second terminals. Associated systems and methods are also provided.

  • Patent number: 8714859
Abstract: A clamping assembly which includes a first member that has a housing and a plunger that reciprocates within the housing. The first member further includes a first biasing member that biases the plunger in a first direction and a second biasing member that biases the plunger in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction. The first member further includes a bearing positioned within a cavity in the housing such that the bearing reciprocates within the cavity in a third direction that is partially orthogonal to the first and second directions. The plunger includes a first surface that applies a first force to the bearing that is at least partially in the third direction. The clamping assembly further includes a second member that includes a second surface that engages the bearing. The bearing applies a second force to the second surface of the second member that is at least partially in the second direction.

  • Patent number: 6821159
Abstract: A modifiable connector keying system (16). The keying system (16) includes a first shaped feature (30, 32) that is removably connected to a first connector component. A second shaped feature (36, 38) is removably connected to a second connector component. The first shaped feature (30, 32) and the second shaped feature (36, 38) are shaped so that the first shaped feature (30, 32) fits with the second shaped feature (36, 38) to selectively allow the first connector component to connect with the second connector component. In a more specific embodiment, the keying system (16) further includes a first mechanism (34, 40, 44) for removably connecting the first shaped feature (30, 32) to the first connector component and the second shaped feature (36, 38) to the second connector component. A second mechanism (30, 34, 44) enables selective adjustment of the first shaped feature (30, 32) and the second shaped feature (36, 38) to customize the keying system (16).
