  • Patent number: 10056013
Abstract: A two-part label roll includes a liner and labels with removable strips. The liner is cut under the removable strip to allow a portion of the liner to remain with the label as it is removed from the liner and applied to a package. The liner may be cut in sections to leave liner ties to connect the opposing cut edges of the liner portion. The removable strip may be elongated and extend transverse to the side edges of the liner roll and the cut portion having a non-linear leading edge to facilitate label application with automated equipment.

  • Publication number: 20180111736
Abstract: A blank for sealing a tray having one or more compartments includes a face stock with a pressure sensitive adhesive pattern which closely matches the top surface area of the tray, excluding the tray compartment areas. The pattern may be precisely formed with the pressure sensitive adhesive containing a coloring or fluorescing agent. The adhesive forms an identifiable registration mark used for properly aligning the adhesive pattern for die cutting the face stock in a specific location in relationship to the pattern. Various types of sensors may be used to identify the registration mark. Alternatively, the pattern may be precisely formed by printing a blocking or deadening agent in a pattern that contains a sensor mark with a blocking or deadening agent that contains a coloring or fluorescing agent, onto a flood coated pressure sensitive adhesive.

  • Patent number: 8548941
Abstract: A document management system allows designation of process owners, approvers, trainers and users of specified documents. The system automatically notifies designated participants of documents to be created, documents awaiting approval, training required, training schedules, and tests. Notifications of approved documents are automatically sent to designated users and trainers for scheduling and tracking user training. The system accommodates requests for document revisions and justifications and allows custom reports to be created and tracked. The system allows for the creation of custom tests that are linked to documents and graded automatically to be used as a final phase of training.

  • Publication number: 20130015095
Abstract: Packagings for holding dosage units and methods for administering dosage units from a packaging. The packaging includes a cover and a body with compartments each configured to hold at least one of the dosage units. The compartments have a circular arrangement on the body. The packaging further includes a cover with a plurality of strips attached to the body for confining the dosage units in the compartments. Each of the strips is positioned relative to a respective one of the compartments and configured to be individually manipulated for releasing the dosage unit from the respective one of the compartments. The method includes manipulating one of the strips to unblock an opening to one of the compartments and removing the dosage unit from the compartment through the unblocked opening.

  • Publication number: 20020119273
Abstract: A card has an adhesive layer for allowing the card to be removably attached to any desired structure. A layer of liner material is disposed over the adhesive layer and can be removed to expose a portion of the adhesive layer, allowing the card to be removably attached to the desired structure by pressing the exposed adhesive layer against the structure. In another embodiment, the card has a pressure sensitive label portion and a coupon portion. The label portion includes a layer of adhesive between a layer of sheet material and a layer of liner material. Peeling off a portion of the liner material exposes a portion of the adhesive layer, allowing the card to be removably attached to the desired structure. A permanent adhesive layer may be disposed over the layer of liner material, and a second layer of liner material may be disposed over the permanent adhesive layer. The card can be fixedly attached to the structure by pressing the exposed permanent adhesive layer against the structure.
