  • Patent number: 6546851
Abstract: A portable cooking grill, which is fully capable of disassembly, having a pair of side retaining members, being linear and having a square or rectangular cross-sectional shape, each having a horizontal and a vertical borehole at either end traversing through the side retaining member, and having a plurality of sockets disposed interior of and regularly spaced along one side of the side retaining member. With the sockets of either side retaining member in opposing alignment, the ends of a plurality of traverse rods are each registered within opposing sockets. The assembly of two side retaining members and the plurality of transverse rods are secured in place with two clamping rods, the threaded ends of which register with and traverse through the opposing horizontal boreholes in the side retaining member and are secured in place with torsionally engaged threaded fasteners, forming a rigid grilling surface.

  • Patent number: 5022352
Abstract: An improved fuel and air admixture burner for water heating and/or space heating appliances comprises concentrically arranged inner and outer sheet metal tubes closed at their top ends and the inner tube open at its bottom end through which a combustible fuel and air admixture is adapted to be introduced into the burner. The inner and outer tubes are specially configured to supply a balanced distribution of the combustible fuel and air admixture to the outer surface of the burner while allowing the heating apparatus to operate quietly. Perforations varying in size are distributed over a top zone, a middle zone, and a bottom zone of the inner tube, with the top and bottom zones containing larger perforations and the middle zone containing smaller perforations. The bottom zone is axially longer than the middle zone which in turn is axially longer than the top zone.

  • Patent number: 4576618
Abstract: A self-cleaning collecting device for cleaning a dirty gas stream including a flow-through housing having a dirty gas inlet at the base of the housing and a clean gas outlet at the top of the housing interconnected by a gas treating passage adapted to direct a gas stream vertically through the housing. As the dirty gas stream enters the housing, it is circulated through a liquid bath where noxious vapors and larger particulates are entrained in a mist of liquid droplets which are in turn captured and removed from the gas stream as it moves through a separating panel positioned above the liquid bath. As the gas flows upwardly out of the panel, the captured liquid is circulated to the liquid bath to maintain a flow of liquid within the panel which acts to continuously wash the particulates from the panel.
