    Abstract: A support for maintaining a receptor a predetermined distance from a development roller covered with toner and including a series of channels extending generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the support to permit the passage of accumulated toner through the silhouette of the support. The channels are preferably elliptical in plan perspective and semicircular in transverse cross-section to permit the free passage of toner and are angled to direct toner toward the ends of the development roller.
