    Abstract: A new variety of celery given the name “Command” and whose seed has an ATCC number PTA-6627 is presented. Command exhibits a set of characteristics that is different from its parents, Matador and 85-6-3. In addition to the Command plant and its seed, a method of producing a hybrid celery plant by crossing a Matador plant with an 85-6-3 plant is also presented.
