  • Patent number: 11942194
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for assessing a mental state of a subject in a single session or over multiple different sessions, using for example an automated module to present and/or formulate at least one query based in part on one or more target mental states to be assessed. The query may be configured to elicit at least one response from the subject. The query may be transmitted in an audio, visual, and/or textual format to the subject to elicit the response. Data comprising the response from the subject can be received. The data can be processed using one or more individual, joint, or fused models. One or more assessments of the mental state associated with the subject can be generated for the single session, for each of the multiple different sessions, or upon completion of one or more sessions of the multiple different sessions.

  • Publication number: 20240094120
Abstract: This invention relates to the preparation of N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine (“glyphosate”) from N-(phosphonomethyl)iminodiacetic acid (“PMIDA”), and more particularly to methods for control of the conversion of PMIDA, for the identification of reaction end points relating to PMIDA conversion and the preparation of glyphosate products having controlled PMIDA content.

  • Patent number: 11931492
Abstract: A system and method for balancing flows of renal replacement fluid is disclosed. The method uses pressure controls and pressure sensing devices to more precisely meter and balance the flow of fresh dialysate and spent dialysate. The balancing system may use one or two balancing devices, such as a balance tube, a tortuous path, or a balance chamber.

  • Patent number: 7976639
Abstract: A test method is disclosed that can be used to test cleaning products. The test method includes applying a known amount of test material to a surface, cleaning the surface and calculating the amount of allergens picked-up from the surface. The calculated amount of allergens picked-up is then corrected for several measurable variables to provide a more accurate determination of the percentage of allergens picked up with the cleaning product.

  • Patent number: 5131895
Abstract: An improved exercise apparatus, having two rails in parallel relation supported on a frame. Supported by each rail are two travellers, the four travellers for engagement with the limbs of the user. Each pair of travellers is supported by the rail one above the other, with the bottom travellers extending laterally below the rails of the apparatus. The travellers ride within grooves in the rails. An endless chain is suspended between the rails. When the travellers are coupled to the endless chain, the user encounters a resistive force from a force resistance system. Each set of travellers is selectively coupled to the endless chain.

  • Patent number: 4805895
Abstract: A theatrical imaging system for forming images where there are no image forming surfaces includes a theater having a raked audience viewing are in spaced apart relationship in front a stage. A false ceiling separates a motion picture projector and rear view projection screen, from the audience viewing area. The screen disposed above and in front of the audience provides a real image forming surface. A semi transmissive reflecting member disposed at an angle of 131/2 to 31 degrees to a vertical plane disposed normal to the average sight line of the audience member is disposed in facing relationship to the screen to generate a virtual image on the stage in the line of sight of the audience.

  • Patent number: 4736214
Abstract: A three dimensional image generating system has a multiple adjacent image generating projector aimed at corresponding juxtaposed reflectors, one of which being substantially reflective and the other of which being partially transmissive and partially reflective. A third partially transmissive reflecting member is interposed between the juxtaposed reflectors and a viewing audience. A prop supporting rotatable stage is disposed before the audience and beyond the the third reflecting member. The third reflecting member transmits and reflects to the audience a composite image composed of the three dimensional image generated by the juxtaposed reflectors and the prop image passed through the third reflecting member.

  • Patent number: 4119022
Abstract: A dispensing head having a plurality of prong-like nozzles is useful for impregnating meat with tenderizing and flavoring liquids. It may be fitted onto a pressure dispenser of the conventional type containing a bag to hold the liquid, a gas pressure space thereabout, and a reciprocable dispensing valve. The head so utilized has an inlet leading to a flushable chamber communicating to several prong-liked nozzles which project on parallel axes from a meat pressing surface, preferably having a rim. Pressing this surface so spreads the meat against the sides of the nozzles as to seal them against the escape of liquid dispensed under superatmospheric pressure, thus forcing it to impregnate the meat. The dispensing head is readily flushed; and provisions are made for re-mounting on the valve stem without discharging the contents of the container.
