  • Publication number: 20230339539
Abstract: A method for steering alignment calibration of an articulated machine having front and rear frames pivotally connected by an articulation joint to steer the machine may include displaying a steering alignment calibration screen with a target steering angle between the frames and a calculated steering angle. The calculated steering angle may be determined based on a sensed steering angle and a calibration steering angle. The machine is steered until the displayed calculated steering angle is equal to the target steering angle. If an actual steering angle of the machine is not equal to the target steering angle, further steering is performed until the actual steering angle is equal to the target steering angle. The calibration steering angle may be recalculated and stored for future use when the actual steering angle is equal to the target steering angle but the calculated steering angle is not equal to the target steering angle.

  • Patent number: 11201925
Abstract: A client device may identify a first parameter that is to be updated periodically and a second parameter that is to be updated based on a state change. The client may transmit, via a negotiation session, a request to the server device. The request indicates that the server device is to periodically provide information indicating a current value of the first parameter and is to provide information indicating an updated value of the second parameter when a state of the second parameter changes. The client device may periodically receive, from the server device and via a second communication protocol, a first datagram including the current value of the first parameter and may receive a second datagram including the updated value of the second parameter based on the server device determining that the current state of the second parameter has changed.

  • Publication number: 20210061199
Abstract: A machine includes an engine, an electronic display device, and a controller configured to: receive one or more signals indicating an identification of a machine operator; retrieve a name of the operator associated with the identification of the operator in a first data set of machine operators; retrieve one or more saved machine parameters associated with the name of the operator in a second data set of machine parameters; and set one or more current machine parameters to the one or more saved machine parameters.
