Abstract: A manually operated portable die cutting machine having a rotatable handle arm for generating a pressure necessary to cut a sheet material that is carried by a die cutting assembly and positioned between a movable upper press plate and a stationary lower press plate. A pull-out drawer is slidable outwardly from the body of the die cutting machine to enable access to a storage compartment thereof in which a variety of small articles can be transported. The rotation of a locking knob causes a corresponding rotation of a swing hook into engagement with the handle arm to prevent a rotation of the handle arm when it is desirable to carry the die cutting machine at the side of a user or to prevent use of the machine by a small child. The handle arm includes a handle having an upturned kick which prevents the user's fingers from being pinched when the handle is grasped to rotate the handle arm.

Abstract: A top is releaseably carried by a vehicle for rotation about an axis upon an external force effecting linear movement of the vehicle and rotation of a drivingly related surface engaging wheel. If the wheel is suddenly stopped the momentum of the top will overcome the force retaining it and the spinning top will be ejected from the vehicle. The vehicle has a track to facilitate insertion and ejection of the top.

Abstract: A toy vehicle and a launcher includes an integral latch mechanism for holding the vehicle in a biased position and an actuating member for selectively releasing the latch. The vehicle includes an elongated tube of substantially dense, rigid material defining a frame to which wheels may be secured. The tube is encased within a soft, resilient, open cell foam material such as polyurethane foam which has been molded in the form of a vehicle body. A resilient, biasing member is mounted within the tube and is held in a compressed state by the latch. The launching member includes connection means to permit the connection of a series of launching members.

Abstract: Disclosed is a game in which a game piece is suspended on a string and is preferably formed as the simulation of a bee or other insect attractable to a flower. The game piece is dangled by the player in a playing area simulating the portion of the flower bounded by the perianth. The perianth includes a series of trap elements formed in the simulation of petals and pivotally mounted on the base for swinging movement between open positions in which they expose the playing area to permit the game piece to be suspended therein, and closed positions in which they trap the game piece. In the playing area a centrally disposed trigger member has a connection to the trap elements such that on upward movement of the trigger member, the trap elements will be biased instantly to the positions in which they trap the game piece.
