Publication number: 20130333266Abstract: An augmented sight and sensing system that allows both improved pointing accuracy and improved detail of sensing information through a plurality of means that superimposes situation-relevant information on a target image in a manner that allows a composite image, with or without additional sensed information, to be detected at one or more subsequent sensory locations or devices. The system includes beam-splitting means to divide incoming light beams from a target image into two separate beams, one beam that may be collected by a first sensor (such as seen by an observer's eye or alternate sensor such as a camera) and the other collected by a second imaging sensor or module, and means to generate and superimpose information (such as a reticle) on the target image seen by both, and means to collect and transmit the composite image and information.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 12, 2013Publication date: December 19, 2013Inventors: Bradley H. Gose, Larry R. Echols, Robert E. White, J. Michael Chambers

Patent number: 7477837Abstract: A flow detection sensor has a manifold with an inlet on a bottom surface and an outlet on a side surface. A movable partial blockage rests near the bottom surface of the manifold and is movable upward in response to a flow of liquid from the inlet to the outlet. A sensor detects the position of the movable partial blockage within the manifold.Type: GrantFiled: November 2, 2006Date of Patent: January 13, 2009Assignee: Dolphin Industries, Inc.Inventor: Robert E. Patent number: 7477836Abstract: A tankless water heater includes a sensitive flow sensor that has a magnetic sensor and a plunger with an imbedded magnet. The plunger is configured to lift in a direction of the magnetic sensor in response to the flow of water thereby changing the state of an output of the sensitive flow sensor. There are electric water heating elements situated within water heating chambers. The sensitive flow sensor and the water heating chambers are fluidly connected in series between a supply of water and at least one hot water spigot. In response to the flow of water, a change of the output of the sensitive flow sensor energizes the electric water heating elements, thereby heating the water.Type: GrantFiled: November 2, 2006Date of Patent: January 13, 2009Assignee: Dolphin Industries, Inc.Inventor: Robert E. Publication number: 20080264712Abstract: A tractor includes a motor, transmission, drive shaft and rear differential for driving the rear axles mounted on a main tubular frame of a variable configuration. Forwardly extendable telescoping tubular frame members are actuated by respective rams to selectively increase the wheel base between the front and rear wheels. The front and rear telescoping tubes supporting each of the wheels are selectively extendable to significantly increase the wheel width of the tractor; the axles for the rear wheels are commensurately extendable. A toolbar dependingly supported from the main frame in front of the cab permits the operator to view the operation of attached implements while driving. The toolbar may include a row guide causing the toolbar to move laterally as necessary to follow a row and the toolbar is connected to the steering mechanism to control the direction of travel of the tractor.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 30, 2008Publication date: October 30, 2008Inventor: Robert E. White

Patent number: 5979041Abstract: An apparatus for assembling a heat exchanger includes a dispenser head that dispenses heat exchanger components onto a receiving fixture as the dispenser head traverses across the receiving fixture. The components are dispensed at predetermined positions along the fixture. The components are ejected from the dispenser head at a predetermined velocity. The dispenser is quickly reloaded with the next component. The rate of reloading, predetermined velocity, and predetermined positions measured and controlled by an electronic controller.Type: GrantFiled: April 29, 1997Date of Patent: November 9, 1999Assignee: Ahaus Tool & Engineering, Inc.Inventors: Adolph C. Patent number: 5154662Abstract: A crab extractor including opposed, large cylindrical rollers oriented in vertically superimposed relation with the lower roller being perforated. Cleaned, uncooked crabs which have been broken along a longitudinal center line from front to rear along the bottom are fed between the rollers with the feelers first by a belt conveyor. The rollers are driven which forces crab meat through the perforations or holes in the bottom roller which is scraped off by a doctor blade into an ager which conveys the extracted meat to a point of discharge. The shell components of the crab are not forced through the perforations and are scraped off of both rollers by doctor blades onto a conveyor. The rollers are interconnected by large meshing gears at one end thereof in order to rotate both rollers at the same speed in opposite directions. The lower roller is driven which in turn drives the upper roller and the auger which conveys the extracted meat from interiorally of the bottom roller is independently powered.Type: GrantFiled: August 22, 1991Date of Patent: October 13, 1992Inventors: Thomas A. Patent number: 4702359Abstract: A torque overload release clutch is disclosed made up of a drive member and a driven member adapted to be connected between a power source and a load to transmit a torsional force and to release at a predetermined torque. The clutch release mechanism is made up of a plurality of spaced thermoplastic modules supported in the driven member and a plurality of spaced recesses in the drive member. The modules are each made up of a sleeve and a pin. The sleeve is supported on the driven member and it receives the pin. The pin has a first follower and a second follower member on it. The first follower engages the side of the recesses which acts as a cam and urges the pin toward the sleeve in proportion to the magnitude of the torsional force. The second follower engages a cam surface on the sleeve resisting the force that urges the pin toward the sleeve.Type: GrantFiled: February 3, 1986Date of Patent: October 27, 1987Assignee: Zurn Industries, Inc.Inventors: Jon R. Patent number: 4331204Abstract: A tractor drawn tillage implement having a front hood, rippers, a rotary tiller and a row former, conditions tight adobe soil ready for planting in one pass. The front hood, having rock deflectors, protects the operator from airborne objects while containing dust and soil disturbed by the rippers and the tiller. The rippers fracture the soil to aid water and root penetration, to increase water retention of the subsoil and to constrain development of hard pan. The rotatary tiller, driven by an auxiliary power unit and having its axis of rotation at or submerged below the ground surface, mulches the soil and plant residue and aerates the soil commensurate with rearward airborne discharge of the soil. A row former deflects the airborne soil into rows of predetermined height and width ready for planting and provides an air tight shroud to control dust and airborne objects. A tool bar is also incorporated for supporting add ons, such as fertilizers and planters.Type: GrantFiled: March 21, 1980Date of Patent: May 25, 1982Inventor: Robert E. White

Patent number: 4145713Abstract: An improvement for a stereoscopic system synchronizes a video monitor and a eft-and right-eye viewer. Synchronous operation at a field-by-field rate is triggered by coincidence and noncoincidence of horizontal sync pulses with coincidence pulses derived from the horizontal sync pulses. As a result, the field carrying the left eye image is always connected to the left eye lens of the viewer and the field carrying the right eye image is always coupled to the right eye lens of the viewer.Type: GrantFiled: August 29, 1977Date of Patent: March 20, 1979Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the NavyInventor: Robert E. Patent number: 3992573Abstract: An improved power supply for alternate frame stereoscopic image presentat system includes a switch circuit for triggering two light valves mounted to present alternate left-right images to a viewer. A delay circuit using a variable pulse length monostable multivibrator permits the length of the "on" time to be adjusted to prevent light valve delays from introducing stereoscopic "ghosts".Type: GrantFiled: November 19, 1975Date of Patent: November 16, 1976Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the NavyInventor: Robert E.
