  • Patent number: 11970286
Abstract: A flight recorder system of an aircraft includes a resource controller module (RCM) communicatively coupled, via a switch fabric, to a set of flight recorder system modules (FRM). Each FRM comprises a respective control module, a respective local memory, and a respective set of input and output (I/O) ports communicatively coupled to the switch fabric. The RCM is configured to detect a respective FRM coupled to the switch fabric, and based on the detection, configure an operation of the FRM, and wherein the respective local memory of the FRM is readable by the RCM, and shareable with the other FRMs via the switch fabric.

  • Publication number: 20220068457
Abstract: Systems and methods for parallel medication processing are disclosed herein. Such methods can include receiving a request for preparation of a plurality of dosed medication delivery containers, determining at least one attribute of the request for preparation of at least one dosed medication delivery container, identifying a template corresponding to the at least one attribute of the request, the template identifying steps and a step sequence for filling the dosed medication delivery container, and executing the template. Executing the template can include iteratively assigning tasks to a plurality of stations within the automated dosing device, the performance of which tasks at least partially overlap, and directing a transport tool to move at least one medication delivery container between the stations of the automated dosing device.

  • Patent number: 10279124
Abstract: An expanding needle is provided that includes a tubular body having a proximal end, a needle-tipped distal end, and a lumen extending therebetween. The expanding needle also includes a longitudinal seam formed on the tubular body. The tubular body is configured to uncurl radially, along the longitudinal seam, thereby transitioning the tubular body from a contracted state to an expanded state to increase an inner diameter of the lumen. In certain embodiments, the tubular body is formed by, for example, a continuous flexible sheet rolled in a lengthwise direction. In that case, the longitudinal seam is defined by a portion of a side of the flexible sheet overlapping an opposing side of the flexible sheet. An expanding needle device, including an expanding needle seated to a needle hub, and a method of increasing an inner diameter of an expanding needle are also provided herein.
