  • Publication number: 20070044783
Abstract: Disclosed is an archery bowstring release that increases the power and length of the draw by having the pincer of the release being recessed a few inches behind the trigger of the release in relation to the bowstring. The present release achieves this result by having a long trigger column rigidly joined to a short pincer column at an acute angle of 20 degrees. A standard type wrist strap is preferably always used in the operation of this release.

  • Patent number: 7070314
Abstract: A method for producing a light channelling panel by making an array of angled cuts in a first transparent plastic sheet, making a similarly spaced array of angled cuts in a second plastic sheet, transposing or flipping the second sheet and fixing it in contact with the first sheet to form a panel with an array of internal light channels. Alternatively, by making an array of angled cuts in the surface of a transparent plastic sheet and an array of similarly spaced angled cuts in the opposite surface of the transparent plastic sheet to form a panel with an array of internal light channels. Said light channelling panel when positioned in a window of a building channels substantially all sunlight incident on the panel through the panel and over the ceiling in the building thereby illuminating the building with daylight and shading work areas near the window.

  • Publication number: 20050172071
Abstract: A method and apparatus for uniquely identifying a digital storage medium is described. In one example, at least one physical attribute of a recording surface is determined. For example, at least one position of the recording surface may be associated with at least one data unit stored on the digital storage medium. Identification indicia is formed from the at least one physical attribute. In another example, a digital recording source is associated with a digital storage medium that was replicated from the source. Identification indicia associated with the digital recording source is obtained by analyzing at least one physical attribute of a recording surface on the digital storage medium. The identification indicia is then compared with the at least one physical attribute to determine if the digital recording source was in fact used to replicate the digital storage medium.

  • Patent number: 6915109
Abstract: In a method of operating a remote control system and in such a system comprising an RF transmission and receiving system and an IR transmission device the sub-carrier information of the IR signal is transmitted in the RF signal in a signal separate from the envelope information of the IR signal which is contained in a envelope signal.

  • Publication number: 20040200182
Abstract: A self-supporting roof lighting system that accepts low elevation light and rejects high elevation light may be produced by making arrays of parallel laser cuts through, or partly through, a flat sheet of transparent acrylic, cutting the segment containing the arrays from the sheet, positioning the segment over linear heating elements to soften the acrylic along the lines between adjoining laser cut arrays, folding the segment along the softened lines through the angle necessary to form a multi-faceted structure of saddle, pyramid or higher order form and allowing this structure to cool and solidify to produce a self-supporting angle-selective roof lighting system with an array of light redirecting laser cuts on each facet.

  • Patent number: 6202104
Abstract: A processor comprises a central processing unit being clock driven and having a static design. A memory is coupled with the central processing unit for storing interrupt routines and data. An interrupt control unit is coupled with said central processing unit for generating interrupt signals. An interrupt execution unit is provided for executing interrupt routines. If no interrupt routine is being executed the central processing unit is stopped from operating.
