  • Publication number: 20110172849
Abstract: A control network for motor vehicles, having nodes in the form of control devices, sensors, and/or actuators, that are connected to each other and temporally synchronized by a time-controlled bus, wherein each node has a time reference system synchronized with the bus, that indicates a global time shared by all nodes, and at least one node has a time coordination system that, for a plurality of actions to be implemented by different nodes, coordinates the global times at which these actions are to be implemented.

  • Patent number: 7526373
Abstract: In a method for regulating the vehicle speed and the engine speed in a motor vehicle having a manually shifted transmission, if the driver actuates the clutch during ongoing speed regulation, an upshift probability is calculated for the possibility that the driver will select the next higher gear step as a target gear and, when the clutch is actuated, the engine speed is regulated according to a time-dependent function selected on the basis of the upshift probability and the target gear, and the speed regulation is resumed after the release of the clutch.

    Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbH
    Inventors: Robert Erhart, Manfred Hellmann
  • Patent number: 7519758
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for transmitting measurement data between an object-detection device and an evaluation device are provided, the evaluation device sending to the object-detection device one or more data packets with the object identifiers relevant for the evaluation device, the object-detection device inserting the current measurement data of the detected objects into a fixed, predetermined number of data packets, the objects, which the evaluation device with the aid of the object identifiers marked as relevant, being entered preferentially, and the apparatus outputting the data packet to a data bus via the connector element to the data bus.
