Publication number: 20240035525Abstract: A torque limiting coupling for a driveline includes a fluid chamber within a twin walled sleeve for providing a fictional engagement with a shaft. A shear-off tube is in fluid connection with the fluid chamber and is assigned to a shear-off gate. The shear-off gate is fixedly connected to the shaft for opening the fluid chamber by shearing the shear-off tube with the shear-off gate. At least a first shear-off tube and a second shear-off tube are provided for closure of the fluid chamber and for interaction with the shear-off gate. The shear-off gate has at least one cut-off edge. At a position of a blockage of one of the shear-off tubes by one cut-off edge, the other shear-off tube is positioned at an unblocked position.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 26, 2021Publication date: February 1, 2024Inventors: Hakan Westberg, Mikael Jacobs, Robert Ericsson

Patent number: 10767711Abstract: A safety coupling has a driving coupling member engaged with a driven coupling member by a frictional connection. The frictional connection can be disconnected by activation of a release element. The release element can be activated by a centrifugal device wherein a centrifugal unit of the centrifugal device is radially moveable to interact with a shift gate in dependence of the revolution speed of the centrifugal unit and the slip between the driving coupling member and the driven coupling member. The centrifugal device includes a stop to limit the centrifugal force applied to the centrifugal unit.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 2016Date of Patent: September 8, 2020Assignee: Voith Patent GmbHInventors: Robert Ericsson, Mikael Jacobs, David Bergstroem, Per-Olof Berg, Axel Bohler, Jonas Loefgren, Daniel Fors, Kjell-Erik Larsson, Erik Nordstroem, Niclas Olsson

Publication number: 20140040800Abstract: The disclosed subject matter comprises an enhanced screen organizer component (ESOC) that can efficiently control organization and presentation of desired screens, which relate to an industrial control system, to a user. At design time, a designer employs the ESOC to select and organize one or more screens for a project relating to a control system, create and organize screen folders that can contain desired folders or screens in a hierarchical fashion, select a home screen or favorite screens, respectively, for the operator, role or group, wherein a home screen can be a screen a user views when authenticated into a terminal or the screen the user can be returned to in response to selection of a home control. During run time, the user can access desired screens, and use context menus to select a home screen, favorite screens, or other screens, in accordance with user access rights.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 7, 2013Publication date: February 6, 2014Applicant: Rockwell Automation Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Mark R. Fredette, Steven J. Kowal, Matt S. Delisle, Terrie E. Sauvain, Ronald E. Bliss, Matthew Robert Ericsson
