  • Patent number: 11734978
Abstract: An access control and user tracking system includes ranging cameras installed in thresholds of access points for generating three dimensional models of users passing through the access points in order to detect unauthorized individuals or hand gestures of the users, which can indicate unsafe conditions or that lights and/or equipment should be turned on. The ranging cameras can be point range finding measurement sensor scanning cameras, structured light cameras, or time of flight cameras and can be installed along the top or in the corners of the thresholds.

  • Patent number: 11451473
Abstract: Egress mirroring packets to a CPU includes processing ingress packets in a forwarding pipeline; egressing one or more packets from the forwarding pipeline to a first physical port of the switch; mirroring the one or more packets on the first physical port to a second physical port of the switch; recirculating the one or more packets on the second physical port to the forwarding pipeline, wherein the one or more packets on the second physical port become ingress packets on the second physical port and processing the recirculated one or more packets in the forwarding pipeline includes identifying packets that ingress on the second physical port; and sending the identified packets to a central processing unit (CPU) in the switch.

  • Patent number: 10181230
Abstract: A security system uses wireless access control readers that determine locations of beacon devices relative to thresholds of access points, a verification system for validating user information for users, and beacon devices that monitor for an activation input from their users and that signal the wireless access control readers when the activation input is received. The access point is then controlled based on the user information and the receipt of the activation input by the beacon devices. This addresses the problem of how the system infers intent at an access point. The security system no longer has to infer intent from possibly poor information concerning the location and movement of the users. Instead, the security system can simply determine gross proximity to the access point and then wait for the activation input.

  • Patent number: 4302004
Abstract: A self-contained amusement ride designed for use on a mobile unit can be folded into a compact assembly for highway transport. During operation of the ride, an angularly off-set undercarriage allows the front portion of the mobile unit to support the entire weight of the ride on the ground with essentially no weight on the rear wheels. A pivoted kingpin plate allows transport with adequate ground clearance and a retractable landing gear on the front end of the mobile unit provides for raising and lowering the mobile unit for connection and disconnection from a prime mover. Hydraulically assisted lockable supports tie the main sweep arms to the mobile unit during transit.Pins with integral sliding hammers are provided to perform certain locking and pinning functions during assembly and disassembly of the ride.
