    Abstract: Systems and methods for classifying and routing an inbound call using ENUM queries are described. When a calling party initiates an inbound call, an Interconnect Session Border Controller (I-SBC) may generates a query for a calling party number (CgPN) and a called party number (CdPN) to search the inbound call in an E.164 Number to URI Mapping (ENUM) database. The I-SBC may check the CgPN against the ENUM database and identify a service provider identification (SPID) number associated with the classification of the CgPN found in the ENUM database. The I-SBC may then tag the SPID and an associated predetermined description to the inbound call, and route the inbound call based on the SPID.

    Abstract: When authorized, a user of a computing device, such as a smart phone, may select an originating phone number to initiate a voice call that is different from the telephone number that is assigned to the computing device. The telephone number that is selected as the originating number may be a number that is assigned to another computing device and/or a different user. In response to receiving a request to place an outgoing call using the selected destination number, the network returns a temporary routing number to the computing device. The computing device places a call to the temporary routing number. After receiving the call at the temporary routing number, the network places the outgoing call using the selected originating number. The outgoing call appears to a called party to originate from the selected originating number instead of from the phone number assigned to the computing device.

The MNO may implement logic to determine whether to allow the MNO's network to be used as a transit network based at least in part on conditions such as one or more of agreements with an MVNO, business considerations, and/or other considerations (e.g., network bandwidth, etc.). The location update message indicates that a mobile device is registered with the mobile network switch. The location update message includes an international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) associated with the mobile device. The network device determines, based at least on the IMSI, a plurality of MSISDNs associated with the mobile device, including a first MSISDN that is enabled for calling and a second MSISDN that is not enabled for calling.
