  • Patent number: 10176661
Abstract: This invention uses variables sets, that are called up according to a file a into a Programmable Finite Impulse Transform (FIT) algorithm, which then sends a command to a Programmable Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter (a brick wall filter) that makes multiple passbands. The digital passbands edit a spectral range from 200 nm to 1500 nm into multiple snippets thus generating an edited-down variation on the spectral range coming from fluorescent taggants. The full-wide peaks profile from a zone containing side-by-side fluorescent taggants is uniform on all the value documents or items in a series, but the Programmable FIT algorithm and the Programmable FIR multiple bandpass filter turn that single peaks profile signature into millions of distinct and specific variations, so each value document or item has its own unique key in a database.

  • Patent number: 9876461
Abstract: A control and protection apparatus for an electric motor, comprising an inverter (3), a first converter (1), a temperature detection apparatus (7), and a second converter (2). The first converter (1) is used for generating, on the basis of an input signal, a first control signal to control working of the inverter (3). The temperature detection apparatus (7) is used for detecting the temperature of the electric motor (4) and for acquiring a temperature signal. The second converter (2) is used for generating a second control signal on the basis of the temperature signal detected and for providing the second control signal to the inverter (3). The inverter (3) is used for controlling wording of the electric motor (4) on the basis of the first control signal and of the second control signal. The control and protection apparatus for the electric motor is low in costs and high in safety and reliability.

  • Publication number: 20180000830
Abstract: The present invention relates inter alia to the treatment or prevention of influenza virus infection (including subtypes influenza A virus, influenza B virus, avian strain H5N1, A/H1N1, H3N2 and/or pandemic influenza) using compounds which inhibit the activity of p59-HCK and to a method of screening for a candidate drug substance intended to prevent or treat influenza virus infection in a subject, said method comprising identifying a test substance capable of inhibiting p59-HCK activity.

  • Patent number: 9673695
Abstract: An ASD circuit includes an input, solid-state switch rectifier bridge, DC link, and DC link capacitor bank. A pre-charge circuit is coupled between the input and the DC link capacitor bank and includes pre-charge relays operable in an on state that allows the AC power input to power the rectifier bridge during a normal operating state and an off state that allows the AC power input to pre-charge the DC link capacitor bank through a pre-charge resistor of the pre-charge circuit during a pre-charge operating state. A protection relay of a protection circuit is coupled between the pre-charge relays and the DC link capacitor bank, the protection relay operable in an on state that prevents the pre-charge circuit from connecting to the DC link capacitor bank when a capacitor short circuit occurs and an off state that allows the pre-charge circuit to electrically connect to the DC link capacitor bank.

  • Patent number: 9568209
Abstract: A ventilation system includes first and second blowers connected to a plenum in parallel, with a first motor drive to control a speed of an electric motor of the first blower and a second motor drive to control a speed of an electric motor of the second blower. A controller associated with the first blower is programmed to receive a set point for a controlled variable that is controllable by operation of the first and second blowers, estimate a total air flow required from the first and second blowers to reach the controlled variable set point, calculate a blower speed ratio between a first blower speed and a second blower speed that provides the required total air flow at a minimum power consumption level, and generate commands to cause the first blower and the second blower to operate at speeds resulting in the calculated blower speed ratio.
