  • Publication number: 20250072943
Abstract: A screw capture system for calcaneal repair is provided. The system includes an elongate nail having a hollow body with a longitudinal axis extending through the body and a through passage extending along the longitudinal axis. The body has a plurality of through-openings formed therein transverse to longitudinal axis, each of the plurality of through-openings defined by an internal wall. At least one support post is sized to be inserted into each of the plurality of through-openings. At least one set screw is inserted into the through passage. Each of the at least one set screw biases one of the at least one support posts against the internal wall of the respective through-opening.

  • Publication number: 20240074790
Abstract: A talar repair jig includes an elongate base extending along a longitudinal axis. The base has a front face, a first side opening through the front face, wherein the first opening supports a first rod assembly, a second side opening through the front face, distal from the first side opening, wherein the second side opening supports a second rod assembly, and a central opening extending through the front face, wherein the central opening supports a pair of rear alignment guides.

  • Publication number: 20220087829
Abstract: A prosthesis for total ankle arthroplasty, comprising: a talar implant; a tibial implant; and a bearing component disposed between the tibial implant and talar implant and configured to slide relative to the talar implant to facilitate motion of the prosthesis. The bearing component and the talar implant having corresponding sliding surfaces, the corresponding sliding surfaces defining concentric cylindrical surfaces and an axis of rotation. The concentric cylindrical surface of the bearing component has a ridge configured to slide in a corresponding groove in the concentric cylindrical surface of the talar implant. The alignment of the bearing component and the talar implant, along the axis of rotation, is only due to the interaction of the ridge and the groove.

  • Publication number: 20070147360
Abstract: The present invention is a computer system for delivering digital information over a network. A request receiving process receives a request for transmitting digital information after a start time and before an end time. The digital information has a number of packets. A transmit time process determines the time required to transmit the digital information based on the number of packets and a network speed. A scheduler schedules a transmit time for the digital information and an acceptance process accepts the digital information for transmission only if the time required to transmit is less than or equal to the difference between the transmit time and the end time.

  • Patent number: 7107582
Abstract: A computer system and method is presented for dynamic content resolution. The invention comprises one or more source program files and one or more insert statements inserted into the source program files. The insert statements having one or more logical condition statements with one or more logical parameters and one or more state statements. An insert statement parser determines a state of the condition statement, selects one of the state statements associated with the state, and parses the selected state statement into one or more content source indicators. A content source identification process uses one or more of the content source indicators to determine a content source type and one or more access instructions. A content source access process uses the access instructions to access a content source object. A content insertion process replaces the insert statement with the source object in the source program file.
