  • Patent number: 12133055
Abstract: Example embodiments may include one or more of receiving sound emissions signals from channels via sound emitters, controlling the sound emission signals, via relay circuits, and one of the relay circuits is configured to interrupt one of the sound emission signals associated with one of the sound emitters while the other sound emissions signals pass to the other corresponding sound emitters, and receiving, via a sound detection circuit, an electrical ambient sound signal based on ambient sound sensed by the one of the sound emitters responsive to the interrupted one of the sound emission signals.

  • Publication number: 20240228751
Abstract: Methods for manufacturing durable goods from used textiles, and the articles made according to the methods, are provided. In an exemplary method used textiles are obtained, sorted, washed and dried. The used textiles are cut into suitable pieces, or joined into larger sections then cut into suitable pieces, then combined with a suitable resin in a mold. The resin is then cured. Curing can be photoinitiated by exposure to a suitable type of radiation, or thermally initiated by heating. At least some of the mold can be transparent to the suitable radiation where the curing is photoinitiated.

  • Patent number: 11495208
Abstract: In some embodiments, recognition results produced by a speech processing system (which may include two or more recognition results, including a top recognition result and one or more alternative recognition results) based on an analysis of a speech input, are evaluated for indications of potential errors. In some embodiments, the indications of potential errors may include discrepancies between recognition results that are meaningful for a domain, such as medically-meaningful discrepancies. The evaluation of the recognition results may be carried out using any suitable criteria, including one or more criteria that differ from criteria used by an ASR system in determining the top recognition result and the alternative recognition results from the speech input. In some embodiments, a recognition result may additionally or alternatively be processed to determine whether the recognition result includes a word or phrase that is unlikely to appear in a domain to which speech input relates.

  • Patent number: 11102038
Abstract: A method may comprise receiving and sampling a signal. The signal may encode a data packet. A slice may be generated and stored comprising a pair of values for each of a selected number of samples of the signal representing a correlation of the signal to reference functions in the receiver. The presence of the data packet may then be detected and the detected packet decoded from the stored slices. The generating and storing slices may be carried out as the received signal is sampled. The sampled values of the signal may be discarded as the slices are generated and stored. The slice representation of the signal can be manipulated to generate filters with flexible bandwidth and center frequency.
