  • Publication number: 20200061453
Abstract: A circular mosaic puzzle for retaining a puzzle design that is adjustable between ordered and disordered configurations. Plural circular mosaic substructures, each with a display surface, a central section, and four peripheral sections, are rotatably retained relative to a frame. Adjacent circular mosaic substructures have overlapping circumferences. Each peripheral section has opposed convex arcuate surfaces, and each central section has four concave arcuate surfaces for receiving one or more peripheral sections. Concentric actuation knobs can be retained relative to reverse surfaces of the substructures. A receiving track in the frame rotatably receives the circular mosaic substructures. The receiving track corresponds in shape and size to the shape and size of the overlapping circular mosaic substructures. The track can be a depressed formation within the frame that is laterally bounded by the border structure.

  • Publication number: 20060282025
Abstract: A portable vibration device (PVD) for attaching to a structure or person, includes a vibration-producing component (VC), and a clamping component (CC) for attaching the vibration-producing component (VC) to a structure or person to transmit vibrations thereto. The clamping component (CC) is slidable relative to the vibration-producing component (VC) for adjusting a distance between the vibration-producing component (VC) and a structure or person. One of the vibration-producing component (VC) and the clamping component (CC) includes a recess for storing the other of the vibration-producing component (VC) and the clamping component (CC) when the vibration device is not in use thereby providing a compact unit. The device includes various attachments for different applications.

  • Publication number: 20060080644
Abstract: A method for transforming at least a portion of at least one programming structure into a type parameter includes receiving a first list of at least one declaration of at least one programming structure for transforming to a type parameter. The method further includes generating a second list of at least one declaration of the at least one programming structure that must be transformed into a type parameter if the at least one declaration of the first list is transformed to a type parameter. The method further includes generating a third list of at least one declaration of the at least one programming structure that may optionally be transformed into a type parameter and receiving a selection of zero or more declarations from the second list and zero or more declarations from the third list.

  • Patent number: 5342000
Abstract: An apparatus for imparting a braking force to an advancing strand is disclosed, and which includes a mechanical compensating arm brake followed in series by a movement dependent brake. The movement dependent brake may take any one of several forms, including an eddy-current brake which is directly connected to a roll which is driven by the strand, a hysteresis brake which is directly connected to a roll which is driven by the strand, or a brake of any type which is connected to a roll which is driven by the strand via a clutch, such as a centrifugal clutch, which is operated as a function of the speed of the movement of the strand.

  • Patent number: 4141205
Abstract: A stranding process for producing a cable made up of multiple groups of plied filaments being fed from linear feed positions located along a common twisting axis, said process including steps wherein at least one of the groups is plied and twisted according to the double-twist principle and all of the groups are then plied and twisted together by the cable-twist principle in a common twisting zone. A specific combination of apparatus is provided to carry out the required plying and stranding steps in a single operation.
