  • Publication number: 20240148332
Abstract: Devices, systems, and techniques are disclosed for verifying the occurrence of an acute health event. An example device includes communication circuitry configured to receive a communication indicative of an acute health event of a patient and memory communicatively coupled to the communication circuitry and being configured to store the indication of the acute health event. The device includes processing circuitry communicatively coupled to the communication circuitry and the memory. The processing circuitry is configured to, in response to the communication, verify the acute health event and based on the verification of the acute health event, send an alert regarding the acute health event.

  • Publication number: 20240123238
Abstract: A system comprising processing circuitry configured to receive a wirelessly-transmitted message from a medical device, the message indicating that the medical device detected an acute health event of the patient. In response to the message, the processing circuitry is configured to determine a location of the patient, determine an alert area based on the location of the patient, and control transmission of an alert of the acute heath event of the patient to any one or more computing devices of one or more potential responders within the alert area.

  • Patent number: 8244809
Abstract: An electronic message identification method and system is provided for identifying and managing electronic messages. The electronic message identification method and system may be used for sending an electronic file to a customer by receiving an approval from the customer indicating acceptable content for electronic files that are sent to the customer; receiving the electronic file from a sender, the electronic file including file content and a message content identifier corresponding to the file content; comparing the message content identifier to the approval from the customer; and delivering the file content to an electronic mailbox of the customer, if the message content identifier is consistent with the approval from the customer indicating acceptable content.

  • Patent number: 6240878
Abstract: A milk machine detaching mechanism suitable for use in a sloping splash panel or other vertically limited space, having a pair of opposing components that can transfer load in the vertical direction, but which slide relative to one another in a lateral direction. The detacher is capable raising a milk machine support arm in a smooth and arc-shaped direction to avoid contact with a cow or a cow support platform as the support arm is being withdrawn. The detacher includes a folding arm assembly to minimize potential pinch points.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 20, 1999
Date of Patent: June 5, 2001
    Assignee: Babson Bros. Co.
