  • Patent number: 10481206
Abstract: A system that can include a computing device, upon implementing a host test program, can be configured to generate compiled host test instructions based on a non-host test program code that has been prepared in accordance with performance characteristics of a non-host automatic test equipment (ATE) and based on calibration data and/or offset data associated with a host ATE. The system can further include a hardware adapter that can be configured to generate non-host test signals based on host test signals generated by a host ATE and with substantially similar characteristics as test signals generated by the non-host ATE, wherein the host test signals are generated by the host ATE based on the compiled host test instructions.

  • Patent number: 10408810
Abstract: A soil testing method determines available nutrient levels and effective and economical fertilizer/treatment, based on what nutrients in the soil will actually reach the root of a growing plant. A soil is tested to determine initial nutrient(s) available to a plant root if it were growing in that soil when no nutrients have been added, followed by comparing/correlating the initial available nutrient to nutrient requirements for desired plant growth during one or more periods of time and/or to a yield outcome desired. Various doses of fertilizer(s) or treatment(s) are then added to portions of the soil, and those dosed portions are then tested for available nutrient levels, to determine the effect of the fertilizer(s)/treatment(s) on the nutrients that would be available in that particular soil to a plant root if that soil were fertilized with the various doses.

  • Publication number: 20170025258
Abstract: A PVD chamber for growing a magnetic film of NiFe alloy at a growth rate of greater than 200 nm/minute produces a film exhibiting magnetic skew of less than plus or minus 2 degrees, magnetic dispersion of less than plus or minus 2 degrees, DR/R of greater than 2 percent and film stress of less than 50 MPa. NiFe alloy is sputtered at a distance of 2 to 4 inches, DC power of 50 Watts to 9 kiloWats and pressure of 3 to 8 milliTorr. The chamber uses a unique field shaping magnetron having magnets arranged in outer and inner rings extending about a periphery of the magnetron except in two radially opposed regions in which the inner and outer rings diverge substantially toward a central axis of the magnetron.
