Abstract: A polyacrylate formulation suitable for delivery of drug to through a body surface of an individual. By loading the drug and permeation enhancers at a high concentration into a polyacrylate proadhesive that has inadequate adhesive properties for typical adhesive application on the skin, a formulation with desirable adhesive characteristics and effective therapeutic properties can be made. The proadhesive has higher glass transition temperature than typical pressure sensitive adhesives.

Abstract: A transdermal nicotine salt delivery system to an individual. The system has a high nicotine salt loading to effect therapeutic flux rate. Acrylate polymeric drug reservoir with the high nicotine salt dissolved therein provides desirable adhesive characteristics and effective transdermal therapeutic properties.

Abstract: An electrical continuity tester adaptor for attaching to a conventional continuity tester comprising first, second and third members. The first member is operably configured to engage a female F-type connector. The second member is operably configured to engage a female RJ series type connector. The third member includes a plurality of electrical connections and a printed circuit board to facilitate the electrical connectivity between the first and second members.

Abstract: The present invention is an electronic signal continuity device comprising an electrically conductive case having a volume, an input port and at least two output ports. The continuity device further includes a printed circuit board (PCB) in electrical communication with the input port and the output ports. The PCB is operably configured to split an electronic signal received at the input port to the output ports. Additionally, the PCB is disposed within the volume of the electrically conductive case. Further, the PCB includes an orifice and a plurality of electronic components, wherein one of the plurality of electronic components is disposed in the orifice. The case further includes a first portion and a second portion opposing the first major portion, wherein one of the two output ports and the input port are disposed on the first portion, and one of the two output ports is disposed on the second portion.

Abstract: Composition of matter for application to a body surface or membrane to administer fluoxetine by permeation through the body surface or membrane, the composition comprising fluoxetine to be administered, at a therapeutically effective rate, alone or in combination with a permeation enhancer or mixture. A preferred embodiment is directed to the transdermal administration of fluoxetine at reduced skin irritation levels wherein fluoxetine, preferably provided as fluoxetine acetate, is coadministered with a corticosteroid such as hydrocortisone. Also disclosed are drug delivery devices containing the fluoxetine or fluoxetine and enhancer composition and methods for the transdermal administration of the fluoxetine and fluoxetine/enhancer composition.

Abstract: A cable continuity tester and tracer includes a cylindrical barrel housing a battery, a cable connector with two contacts, a bicolor LED and a detachable, tone-generating portion. A circuit board in continuity with the battery, LED and both contacts of the connector permits the LED to glow read upon encountering a short in a tested cable, and to glow green upon encountering a low-resistance terminator on the cable of from 50 to 75 ohms. The tone generating portion issues an audible signal when placed on an opposite end of a cable from the tester, when the cable has good continuity.
