Abstract: The present disclosure describes a method for the recycling of scrap that includes using a computer device with internet access to input data to a website of a recycling center. The input to the website includes data on the scrap, an originator of the scrap, container for the scrap and location of the scrap. The website limits the recycling of scrap to select types of scrap. The website uses the input data to calculate a potential value of the scrap. If the potential value of the scrap is acceptable, the website directs a commercial carrier to prepare a shipping label. The shipping label can be printed by the originator, attached to the scrap packaged in the container and transported by the commercial carrier from the location of the scrap to the location of the recycling center.
