  • Patent number: 12101194
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for dynamic Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) codebook construction with enabling or disabling of HARQ Acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK) feedback per HARQ process. In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless communication device comprises receiving, from a network node, information that configures the wireless communication device with a first set of HARQ processes for which HARQ-ACK feedback is disabled and a second set of HARQ processes for which HARQ-ACK feedback is enabled. The method further comprises receiving first downlink control information that schedules a first downlink shared channel transmission and determining that the transmission corresponds to one of the first set of HARQ processes for which HARQ-ACK feedback is disabled. The method further comprises, upon making this determination, performing a first set of actions for HARQ-ACK feedback generation for HARQ processes with HARQ-ACK feedback disabled.

  • Patent number: 12095958
Abstract: An image-reading device, such as optical code readers used in retail environments to scan objects, is configured to select from various operational modes. The operational modes are selected based on an application of the image-reading device, such as optical code identification or image recognition. Red, white, and other color light sources are activated in patterns corresponding to an illumination sequence of the selected operational mode, while imagers are activated to capture an image based on an exposure pattern of the selected operational mode. Further, a repeating series of light pulses having different portions of light is provided. Various imagers are configured to capture images over one of the portions. This allows an operator to perceive one continuous light pattern, yet allows various imagers to capture an image under different light conditions used for different applications of the image-reading device.

  • Publication number: 20240276648
Abstract: The invention includes methods of forming electronic circuitry on a target surface using intense pulsed light-induced mass transfer (IPLMT) of metal nanoparticles (NPs) by applying a pliable mask to a target surface, coating a carrier film with metal NPs, mounting the carrier film to the target surface and over the pliable mask so that the pliable mask is sandwiched between the target surface and the metal NPs. and exposing the metal NPs to light energy to cause atoms of the metal NPs to evaporate and transport through openings of the pliable mask and condense on the target surface, producing a conductive pattern of condensed metal on the target surface. Certain implementations may utilize a kirigami-patterned pliable mask to enhance conformity to a freeform 3D target surface. In certain implementations, zinc (Zn) may be formed by IPLMT of Zn NPs to the target surface.

  • Patent number: 12063083
Abstract: A User Equipment (UE) receives, from a network node, codebook subset restriction (CBSR) signaling comprising a bitmap. The bitmap comprises a plurality of sets and each set comprises a plurality of bits. Each of the bits indicates whether a respective vector in a first set of vectors is restricted. Each set of bits indicates whether a respective vector in a second set of vectors is restricted. The UE restricts precoders selectable from a plurality of codebooks based on either a first vector in the first set of vectors or a second vector in the second set of vectors being indicated as restricted.

  • Patent number: 12040865
Abstract: Systems and methods for low complexity multi-configuration Channel State Information (CSI) reporting are provided. In some embodiments, a method of operating a wireless device in a cellular communications network to provide CSI feedback from multiple CSI reporting configurations is provided. The method includes receiving a first and second CSI reporting configuration and then reporting updated CSI in a CSI report for only one of the first CSI reporting configuration and the second CSI reporting configuration. In this way, rich CSI feedback with many ports, different codebooks, mixed beamformed and non-precoded CSI-RS configurations, etc., can be supported while requiring less computational complexity in the wireless device.

  • Patent number: 11474543
Abstract: An assembly for an ATIS that includes a tire inflation valve and a tire deflation valve, and further includes a safety valve that is configured to receive the tire pressure, deflate a tire when tire pressure is too high such as due to braking heat, road friction, ambient temperature, or other reasons. The safety valve prevents deflation of the tire through the deflation valve in the case of low source pressure, such as the pressure source fails or a leak in the source pressure system lines. The assembly is designed to be quickly serviced in the field, where the serviceable parts are very inexpensive. Multiple devices can be installed in parallel with the others, with one device per tire or tire set. The assembly can be a block configured to be attached to a hub cap of a vehicle. It also enables a sensor placement on the hub cap for hub temperature sensing as well as tire pressures sensing and reporting.

  • Publication number: 20060007350
Abstract: A rotatable wireless electrical coupler is disclosed that presents a wireless alternative to mechanical slip rings, such as are used in rotatable mechanical assemblies such as dome cameras. The rotatable wireless electrical coupler is designed to provide for the wireless transfer therethrough of electrical power, video and data signals. A rotatable multi-function transformer of the electrical coupler is designed primarily for the transfer of electrical power therethrough, and can also be used for the transfer of data signals. A rotatable electrical capacitor of the electrical coupler is designed primarily for the transfer of video data signals therethrough, and can also be used for the transfer of control and feedback data signals. In a dome camera, the rotatable wireless electrical coupler transfers power and data signals to and from a rotatable platform/section on which is mounted a video camera, pan and tilt motors and other associated electrical components.
