Abstract: A cutter bit for use in combination with a rotary cutter, the cutter brick comprising a removal boss integrally formed on the cutter bit shank adjacent to cutter bit body to allow removal of the cutter bit from the rotary cutting tool with a wrench ordinarily used to operate the chuck mounted on the rotary cutting tool. A boss includes a pair of spaced apart annular flanges extending outwardly from the shank and a concave angular area extending between the flanges.
