  • Publication number: 20070198744
Abstract: A system, method, computer program product, and propagated signal for a real-time concurrent multi-user multi-way collaboration system that is able to incorporate one or more electronic devices including one or more portable devices that permits distributed users to easily and efficiently share both content and editorial input on such content (of course, text messaging is not limited to editorial input on the content). Specifically, a real-time concurrent multi-user multi-way collaboration system, method, and computer program capable of operation providing two or more users to be able to unambiguously collaborate in the rendering of a media resource, such that any user at any time may set a rendering of the media resource to a desired reference on all participating clients.

  • Publication number: 20060064250
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and systems for providing an animal with a nutraceutical program that is specifically tailored to address the deficiencies and/or needs of the particular animal. Blood is drawn from the animal and analyzed at a lab to obtain blood test results. The blood test results are scored to obtain at least one blood test score for at least one corresponding blood parameter. If the at least one blood test score falls within a normal range but outside of an optimal range, one or more nutraceuticals needed to bring the animal within the optimal range for the at least one corresponding blood parameter are identified. A prescribed dosage amount is then calculated for at least one of the one or more identified nutraceuticals for the animal. The calculation of the prescribed dosage amount is based on at least the blood test score for the corresponding blood parameter and a deviation of the blood test score from the optimal range.

  • Patent number: 5904955
Abstract: An electronic device in a cavity in a mold is encapsulated by a composite plastic having two materials placed, respectively, in sequential locations in a reservoir in the mold. The first material has desirable properties when in contact with the surface of the device, e.g., better adhesion. The second and different material has other desirable properties, e.g., mechanical strength, low moisture permeability, etc. The first location is first in line in a direction through the mold chambers to the cavity. The two-part encapsulant is injected into the cavity without significant turbulence so as to avoid much mixing of the two materials. This creates a boundary layer of the first material which preferentially applies a coating to the device while the second material substantially fills the bulk of the space in the mold cavity. A composite encapsulation is formed having overall superior properties.

  • Patent number: 5195952
Abstract: The present invention is a noise reducing aspirator which is used to carry away air, water, saliva, dental debris from the mouth of a patient or surgical debris. The present invention comprises an open-ended large solid tubular housing having one end adapted to be connected to a source of suction and the other end adapted to be connected to an aspirator tip which will collect air, water, saliva and dental debris. The housing has a sufficient internal ejecting tubular passageway between the ends to accommodate rapid flow of air, water, saliva and dental debris therethrough. The housing includes chamfered pressure venting tubes of equal diameter circularly distributed around, and connecting to, a main suction tube via slanted pathways. The pressure venting tubes reduce and harmonize the noise level of the aspirator and avoid discomforting suction to the patient's tissue. The ends of the housing are designed to secure an aspirator tip or to a source of suction and are designed for easy removal and replacement.
