  • Publication number: 20170018988
Abstract: A radial lead seal assembly of a generator and a method for sealing a radial chamber from an axial chamber of a generator using a radial lead seal assembly are presented. The radial lead seal assembly includes sealing elements disposed around a radial lead to seal an annular space between the radial lead and the radial chamber and thereby seal the axial chamber fluidically from the radial chamber. Conical springs are disposed annularly around the radial lead between the sealing elements and a junction between the radial lead and the axial lead. The radial lead seal assembly includes a nut for exerting a compressive load on the radial lead seal assembly in a radially inward direction such that the conical springs are only partially compressed.

  • Patent number: 7357449
Abstract: A sunroof device includes a roof panel having a first opening portion, a ceiling member having a second opening portion so as to face the first opening portion, a movable panel moved between a full-closed position and an open position, the movable panel passing through a half-closed position, a motor for driving the movable panel, a controlling means for controlling an operation of the motor, an operating member to be operated or released by a passenger in the vehicle, and a switch for inputting an operation signal for operating the motor, and inputting a stop signal for stopping the motor. The controlling means drives the motor until the movable panel reaches the full-closed position while moving towards the full-closed position by the operating member being operated even if the operating member is released after the movable panel reaches the half-closed position.

  • Patent number: 6107691
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for generating electrical power from multiple vehicles powered by fuel cells while the vehicles are parked in a parking lot. A plurality of spaced-apart electrical receptacles are provided for receiving an electric cable for connection to a parked vehicle for electrically connecting the fuel cell in each of the parked vehicles to the plurality of electrical receptacles. An electric power grid is electrically connected to the plurality of electrical receptacles for transferring D.C. electrical power from the fuel cells in the parked vehicles to the electric power grid. At least one electric power collection station is electrically connected to the electric power grid for collecting at a common point the D.C. electric power in the electric power grid. In addition, at least one inverter is electrically connected to the electric power collection station for converting the D.C. electric power to A.C. electric power. Apparatus is provided for supplying the A.C.
