  • Publication number: 20090101711
Abstract: A secure container (2) has a combination lock (6) that is always operable in response to at least one master key and is also operable on a single occasion in response to a transaction-unique delivery key generated from the master key. The lock (6) also contains processor means (20) for comparing or decoding the delivery key, means (10, 20, 26) for releasing the lock in response to a valid delivery key, and storage means (22) for identifying used delivery keys.

  • Patent number: 7090408
Abstract: A ruggedized, snap-together, module securely retains a pair of mutually abutting fiber optic interconnect MT ferrules, that have been joined together by a ferrule aligning pin clamp structure. The module includes a generally rectangular base member having a ferrule retention cavity that is configured to retain a pair of MT ferrules and an associated pin clamp assembly therefor. A cover is configured to engage the base in such a manner that the two MT ferrules are firmly held in their intended face-to-face abutting condition as captured between the base and the cover. A bias compression spring is captured between the cover and the base in a manner that facilitates removal of the cover when it is desired to open the module and gain access to the two MT ferrules.

  • Publication number: 20040070944
Abstract: A circuit card module to be received in a card chassis includes a host card assembly and a mezzanine card assembly carried in spaced relation by the host card assembly. The host card assembly includes a host card heat sink having an end to connect to the card chassis to conduct heat thereto, and a host circuit card mounted on the host card heat sink. The mezzanine card assembly includes a mezzanine card heat sink, and a mezzanine circuit card mounted on the mezzanine card heat sink. The mezzanine card heat sink has an end to connect to the card chassis to conduct heat thereto in parallel with heat conducted from the host card heat sink to the card chassis. The mezzanine card heat sink may comprise a body adjacent the mezzanine circuit card, and a flexible strap extending outwardly therefrom to connect to the card chassis.

  • Patent number: 5980695
Abstract: A system for the vacuum distillation of contaminated solvents incorporates a tank for holding a liquid contaminated solvent, a heating chamber surrounding the tank for heating the liquid contaminated solvent into an evaporated solvent, a drift elimination and fractionation device for separating contaminants out of the evaporated solvent, a heat exchanger circuit for cooling the evaporated solvent from the drift elimination and fractionation device, a pump circuit connected to receive the evaporated solvent from the drift elimination and fractionation device and to circulate the evaporated solvent through the heat exchanger circuit, and a control circuit connected to at least the heating element and the pump so as to control operation their based on parameters of a solvent selected to be processed. The control circuit includes a plurality of sensors for monitoring operating conditions of at least the tank, the heating chamber and the heat exchanger circuit.
