Abstract: According to various aspects, systems and methods are provided for automatically matching candidates to job openings. The system may obtain a job request and determine recommended candidates. The recommended candidates may be determined by identifying candidate profiles based on the job request; providing, as inputs to a trained machine learning model, the job request and a first set of questions related to the job request; generating, using the trained machine learning model, a first set of answers based on the job request and the first set of questions; providing, as inputs to the trained machine learning model, the candidate profiles and a second set of questions related to the candidate profiles; generating, using the trained machine learning model, second sets of answers based on the candidate profiles and the second set of questions; and determining the recommended candidates based on the first and second sets of answers.

Abstract: A junction box has a base enclosure, a mounting plate, and a lid. The base enclosure has a back and a sidewall or plurality of sidewalls arising from respective edges of the back, thereby defining an opening. The mounting plate is adapted to be removably mounted within, and removed from, the base enclosure. The mounting plate includes at least one set of mutually parallel mounting slots extending across substantially the entirety of the mounting plate along a first direction, and a divider extending outwardly from the mounting plate. The divider is positioned to one side of the at least one set of mounting slots. The lid is adapted to be installed over the base enclosure to close the opening therein. A method of using the junction box is also disclosed.

The enclosure may be extruded from a plastic or, in some cases, co-extruded with two different materials so that the pair of sidewalls can be made of an opaque material. The enclosure may be open along a bottom side opposite the top. In some embodiments, an elongate rigid printed circuit board (PCB) carrying LED light engines is installed between the pair of sidewalls in slot structure defined on respective inner faces. The PCB may carry connecting structure staggered along the length of its underside. In some embodiments, the PCB may be adapted to accept high-voltage alternating current (AC) directly, without converting the power to another form.

Abstract: An auto-center barrel cam for small optical systems including an outer barrel having a first channel extending longitudinally where the first channel is tapered from an inner surface to an outer surface of the outer barrel at a first angle and an inner barrel within the outer barrel. The inner barrel including a second channel extending longitudinally along the inner barrel where the second channel is tapered from an inner surface to an outer surface of the inner barrel at a second angle. A cam follower includes a flexure part having a first section with a first surface and a second section with a second surface. A spring section pulls the first section and the second section toward each other. The flexure part is arranged to maintain the cam follower within a center of the first and second channels as the inner barrel moves in relation to the outer barrel.

Abstract: An endcap, e.g. for a linear luminaire. The endcap has projecting structure attached to and projecting from an inner surface thereof. The projecting structure defines at least two positions aligned with and spaced from one another along the inner surface. One or more crush ribs are connected to the projecting structure at each of the at least two positions. A trough is recessed into the inner surface of the endcap and surrounds at least a portion of each of the at least two positions. The trough provides space to receive any material that is separated from the one or more crush ribs when the endcap is inserted into a channel.

Also disclosed are kits useful in human identification.

Abstract: A rotating bracket includes an endcap, a fastener, a support, a spacer, and securement structure. The endcap is adapted to fit an end of a linear lighting channel and has a keyed opening. The fastener has a keyed shank complementary to the keyed opening of the endcap and is adapted to be inserted into the endcap with the keyed shank of the fastener engaging the keyed opening of the endcap. The support has a slot or opening adapted to accommodate the fastener. The spacer is adapted to insert over the fastener such that it is positioned between the endcap and an inner face of the support. The securement structure engages the end of the fastener beyond an outer face of the support. Linear luminaires using the rotating bracket are also disclosed.

Abstract: A one-piece shield for temporarily covering the upper inlet of a downspout. The shield includes a single sheet of resilient material, with a pair of tabs that cooperate with a slot in the sheet. The sheet is rolled up to create a tubular portion. One of the tabs is turned into the tubular portion to block the passage into the tubular portion, and the other tab cooperates with the slot to keep the device rolled up, so that the tubular portion blocks entry of debris into the downspout. The device is unrolled after use, and stored flat.
