  • Patent number: 12276156
Abstract: A weather stripping assembly is provided and includes a first backing member and a second backing member together defining a longitudinal axis, and first and second transverse directions. Each of the backing members includes a channel. The first backing member has a first alignment structure, and the second backing member has a second alignment structure. The first and second alignment structures are engageable with one another to align their channels with one another in the first and second transverse directions. A flexible seal is shaped to be held in and extend along the channels of both the first and second backing members when the at least two of the plurality of backing members are positioned with the first and second alignment structures in engagement with one another such that the channels of the first and second backing members are aligned with one another.

  • Patent number: 12071807
Abstract: In an aspect, an insulation kit for insulating an interior side of a window is provided. The window includes a window pane and a window frame having a window aperture in which the window pane is mounted, and at least one surface on the interior side of the window which extends around an exterior edge of the window aperture. The insulation kit includes a adhesive member and a sheet of insulating, biodegradable film sized to be mounted to a surface of the window frame by the adhesive member so as to cover the window aperture, and being heat shrinkable to form an airtight seal, insulating the window pane on the interior side of the window. The sheet of film is constructed to be mounted to the at least one surface of the window frame for a period of at least four months before degradation of the film occurs.

  • Publication number: 20080046124
Abstract: A system for lapping gear sets with a ring gear and a pinion gear. The system includes a lapping machine tool and a robot. The lapping machine tool has a first spindle and a second spindle. The second spindle is rotatable about an axis that is generally perpendicular to a rotational axis of the first spindle. The lapping machine tool has a loading zone for loading the first and second spindles. The robot has an end effector with a first end that is configured to hold one of the gear sets. The robot is configured to position the first end of the end effector into the loading zone and to load the first gear set to the lapping machine tool without removing the end effector from the loading zone such that the ring gear is loaded onto the first spindle and the pinion gear is loaded onto the second spindle.
