  • Publication number: 20170198751
Abstract: A bearing cage or bearing cage segment is disclosed, in particular for a rolling-element bearing, wherein the bearing cage includes a polyetheretherketone (PEEK) base material having a low and medium viscosity, and less than 30%, in particular 15% to 25%, reinforcing material is added to the base material, and the reinforced PEEK material has a shrinkage in the melt-flow direction that falls in the range of 0.4% to 0.6%.

  • Patent number: 8414193
Abstract: A retaining element is disposed between two adjacent roller bodies of a roller bearing having an inner ring and an outer ring. The inner ring has an inner ring track with an inner radius and the outer ring has an outer ring track with an outer radius. Center points of the roller bodies are disposed along a pitch circle having a pitch circle radius. The retaining element extends radially inward from the pitch circle over at least 90% of the difference between the pitch circle radius and the inner radius and extends radially outward from the pitch circle over up to 50% of the difference between the outer radius and the pitch circle radius or vice versa.

  • Patent number: 6579011
Abstract: An antifriction bearing includes a plurality of rolling elements each having a lateral surface possessing a conical shape, with the rolling elements being positioned between a conical raceway and a cylindrical raceway to roll along the conical raceway and the cylindrical raceway. The lateral surface of each rolling element forms an angle with a center axis of the rolling element that is 3° at maximum, and the lateral surface of each rolling element has a convex curvature that is superimposed on the conical shape. The bearing can also include a first bearing ring having a running surface constituting one of the conical and cylindrical raceways. An antifriction bearing arrangement incorporating such an antifriction bearing is also provided with a stop element having a stop face contacting the end face of each of the rolling elements.

  • Patent number: 5070231
Abstract: A roll-fusing assembly for printing upon continuous length print stock of substantially different widths and thicknesses includes structure for compensating for differences in thermal expansion across the pressure roller when engaging differing print stock widths. In a preferred embodiment this includes stepped pressure roller sections of reduced diameters and a contacting heat transfer roller for normalizing surface temperatures across the width of the pressure roller. The disclosed method involves normalizing surface temperatures across the pressure roller to compensate for the differences in thermal expansion that will occur about the pressure roller exterior directly exposed to the heated fusing roller when handling relatively narrow continuous length print stock or stock of differing thicknesses.
