  • Patent number: 12527919
Abstract: A needle-based device includes a needle-shield that encompasses an entirety of a length of a needle protruding from a body associated with the needle-based device or a needle mount coupled to the body, and an external cap that completely encompasses the needle shield in the first state of disuse of the needle-based device. The needle-based device also includes a guide element protruding inward from an end of the external cap farthest away from the body or the needle mount. The guide element is internal to the external cap, parallel to a length of the external cap and extends through the needle shield such that, in the state of disuse, the guide element at least partially envelops the needle therewithin to prevent significant lateral movement of the needle and prevents the end of the external cap from touching the needle.

  • Publication number: 20210068728
Abstract: The device is comprised of oblong main body and the cup, which locks the front end of the main body. A casing of the main body is shaped as a tube. A puncture mechanism with a lancet leading unit, a puncture depth regulation mechanism and used lancet removal mechanism are installed in the casing. They compose a mechanism unit, which components are installed in a mechanism body, fastened inside the casing. The lancet leading mechanism is comprised of a lancet socket with guide, that goes through the opening in the transversal partition of the mechanism body, and lancet chamber. The guide is linked with the front end of a driving sleeve, sliding and rotary fitted in the mechanism body. Between the transversal partition and the driving sleeve there is the return spring. Between the driving sleeve and a button there is the drive spring. At the end of the casing there is the button, sliding and rotary fitted.

  • Publication number: 20210038830
Abstract: The device comprises an elongated needle embedded in a hub equipped with means for connecting the needle with a vessel containing an injectable substance or a vessel for receiving tissue, a housing mounted on the hub, a hollow slider with its first end directed towards the outside of the housing and the second end moving inside the housing and means preventing slider rotation in relation to the housing. The device also includes a longitudinal resilient means supported with its first end against the slider and with its second end against the hub, blocking means stopping the slider's movement in a position most extended from the housing after removal of the needle from the patient's body. The housing features a cylindrical channel in which there is a rotating sleeve and the longitudinal resilient means. The side wall of the sleeve features a linear notch with a start bay and a blocking bay.

  • Publication number: 20150014968
Abstract: The invention relates to an occupant protection airbag system for a motor vehicle. The airbag is stored in the vehicle instrument panel behind an airbag opening comprising a plurality of flaps constructed integrally with the instrument panel. The flaps open along respective separation lines and pivot about hinge lines when the airbag inflates. A single central flap has a hinge line located at the side of the instrument panel opening facing the windshield, and the separation line adjoining the hinge line extends in a substantially U-shaped manner. Left and right lateral flap which open toward each side are provided at both sides of the central flap. The portions of the lateral flap separation lines opposite from their respective hinge lines coincide with the lateral portions of the central flap separation lines.
