  • Publication number: 20240094357
Abstract: In one embodiment, a lidar system includes a light source configured to emit local-oscillator (LO) light and pulses of light, the emitted pulses of light including a first emitted pulse of light, where an optical frequency of the first emitted pulse of light is offset from an optical frequency of the LO light by a first frequency offset. The lidar system further includes a receiver configured to detect the LO light and a first received pulse of light, the first received pulse of light including light from the first emitted pulse of light scattered by a target located a distance from the lidar system. The receiver includes a detector, where: the LO light and the first received pulse of light are coherently mixed together at the detector, and the detector is configured to produce a photocurrent signal corresponding to the coherent mixing.

  • Publication number: 20150120463
Abstract: The systems and methods described herein relate to digital library content management and distribution. Specifically, content providers, such as manufacturers and others, may provide and control the availability of content items to point-of-sale (POS) locations and other end-users. Various modules and/or portals allow for the uploading, distribution, and inclusion of content items in various locations and device settings within the POS location. In some embodiments, an automatic content replacement distribution module may dynamically update content items selected for distribution in POS locations in response to modifications or the replacement of the content items by the original content distributor.

  • Patent number: 5209357
Abstract: The hanging book end device includes a slotted track for installation above a book shelf, and a book end which is hung from the track. The top of the book end is flanged to fit into the track slots in a manner such that book end can be positioned anywhere along the track. The flange is made so as to prevent inadvertent shifting of the book end when books lean against it. A typical application of this book end device would be installation in a bookcase.
