    Abstract: A crutch stand for the temporary storage of a crutch in an upright position includes a base and upwardly-projecting crutch receivers. The base of the crutch stand preferably is hollow and can receive sand, water, or another fluid to provide stability to the stand. This permits the stand to be shipped in a lightweight form and then to become heavier for use.
