  • Patent number: 5390237
Abstract: A real time weather information access and distribution system having a central switching and interface unit accessed at least in part via a commercial telephone network. A remote weather station is selected by the incoming caller by means of a "decision tree" process using a touch tone phone, and the central switching and interface unit makes contact with a local interface unit at the selected geographically remote weather reporting station. Weather information being produced and broadcast locally by the weather reporting station is then provided to the geographically remote incoming caller on a real-time basis via the local interface unit, being in communication with said central switching and interface unit, and thence to individual callers desiring said real time weather information.

  • Patent number: 4937605
Abstract: A photographic film holder for use with a removable photographic film package has a bottom portion positioned in a spaced relationship with respect to a top portion to form a film package receiving cavity therebetween. The top portion and the bottom portion are movable transversely relative to one another by means of a slide carrier having pins which cooperate with camming surfaces. A film position retention tab is operative when the holder is in the closed position for holding the film in an exposing anchoring position. • Patent number: 4725865
Abstract: A disposable package for cut photographic film and a holder adopted for use therewith. The film package provides a light excluding envelope into which is inserted a planar carrier bearing a sheet of photographic film affixed thereto by an adhesive backed opaque mask element. One end of the carrier has an elongated tab which, together with the end of the envelope, extends substantially outside the holder when the film package is fully inserted therein, and which may be grasped along with the envelope to facilitate withdrawal of the package from the holder. The open end of the envelope is rendered light tight when the carrier is fully inserted therein by the engagement of the edges of the open end with recesses in an elongated transverse clip attached to the carrier at the end opposite the tab.
