  • Patent number: 12315018
Abstract: Systems and methods provide for configuring and transferring multiple data files including image data files using a mobile device. A mobile device may acquire multiple data files including image files from disparate sources and transmit them to an enhanced image processing server. The enhanced image processing server may analyze the received image files using various techniques. To aid in analysis, the server may also interface with various internal and external databases storing reference images or other reference data of previously analyzed similar data. Further still, the enhanced image processing server may transmit a result of the analysis back to a mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20250117859
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for automatically changing or updating insurance coverage using a computer device. An insurance analyzer may receive data associated with an insurance user. The insurance analyzer may determine types of insurance coverage available and coverage amounts associated with the received user data. Based on the received data the insurance analyzer may automatically activate insurance coverage based on determined types of insurance available and coverage amounts. The insurance analyzer may also deactivate insurance coverage or change insurance coverage amounts based on determined user activity.

  • Publication number: 20250069150
Abstract: Systems and methods provide for an automated system for analyzing damage and processing claims associated with an insured item, such as a vehicle. An enhanced claims processing server may analyze damage associated with the insured item using photos/video transmitted to the server from a user device (e.g., a mobile device). The mobile device may receive feedback from the server regarding the acceptability of submitted photos/video, and fi the server determines that any of the submitted photos/video is unacceptable, the mobile device may capture additional photos/video until all of the data are deemed acceptable. To aid in damage analysis, the server may also interface with various internal and external databases storing reference images of undamaged items and cost estimate information for repairing previously analyzed damages to similar items. Further still, the server may generate a payment for compensating a claimant for repair of the insured item.

  • Patent number: 12182881
Abstract: Systems and methods provide for an automated system for analyzing damage to process claims and pre-claim consultations associated with an insured item, such as a vehicle. An enhanced claims processing server may analyze damage associated with the insured item using photos/video transmitted to the server from a user device (e.g., a mobile device). The mobile device may receive feedback from the server regarding the acceptability of submitted photos/video, and if the server determines that any of the submitted photos/video is unacceptable, the mobile device may capture additional photos/video until all of the data are deemed acceptable. In addition, the server may interface with third party entities such as repair shops and may generate a payment for compensating a claimant for repair of the insured item.

  • Publication number: 20240394784
Abstract: Systems and apparatuses are provided for receiving a request for roadside assistance from a mobile device. The request may include at least one image of a vehicle for which assistance is being requested. The image may be analyzed to determine a roadside assistance issue corresponding to the request. A service may be determined for the roadside assistance issue, and a first roadside assistance provider available to provide the service to the vehicle with the roadside assistance issue may be identified. A communication may be transmitted to a computing device of the first roadside assistance provider specifying the service. Further, a notification is generated and transmitted to the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20240354877
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses and computer-readable media for receiving data associated with a structure or home are presented. Data may be received from an insurance provider associated with the structure, from publicly available sources and/or from a user. A template of items to evaluate associated with the structure may be generated. User input may be received associated with one or more of the items and a determination may be made as to whether a potential issue exists with respect to the item. Other aspects relate to receiving data associated with a plurality of items from the template and prioritizing potential issues identified for each item. Other aspects relate to providing options or images to a user for selection. The user may select an option or image based on the similarity to the item in the structure, which may prompt additional options or images to be provided to the user for selection.

  • Patent number: 12056755
Abstract: Systems and apparatuses for capturing an image of a vehicle for which roadside assistance is being requested are provided. The image may be captured by a mobile device and the mobile device may geotag location information to the image. The image and associated geotag location information may then be processed to determine a location of the vehicle and a roadside assistance issue for which service is being requested. The image may be further analyzed to determine a context including, a make, model and/or year of the vehicle, whether special equipment is needed to service the vehicle, whether the vehicle is located in a particular situation (e.g., within a structure, in a ditch, or the like). The information obtained from the image may be used to determine a type of service to provide to the vehicle and to identify one or more service providers to dispatch to the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240112274
Abstract: A claim-based capitation model is proposed for handling vehicle repair insurance claims. Rather than determining a detailed estimate of the expected actual cost of repair, the estimate may be determined using a simpler model. For example, the insurance company and a repair facility may agree to following a predictive payment model in which the insurance company pays a fixed predicted capitated amount of money for each repair claim, regardless of the amount of repair work that will be needed. Alternatively, the insurance company may pre-pay a fixed capitated amount for a predicted number of future insurance claims.
