  • Patent number: 5598971
Abstract: The present invention provides a capacitive humidity transducer based humidity control system. The present invention comprises a humidity sensor, a temperature source for the heated cabinet air, a temperature source at the sensor, and a regulated water mist discharged into the cabinet air circulation system. An electronic system combines the input from the sensor, the temperature inputs, and the humidity percentage setting to regulate the timing and duration of the water mist discharge, thereby allowing to adjust percentage of humidity in heated holding cabinets. The sensor is a capacitor comprising two plates in close proximity but insulated from each other. The electrical output of the capacitor is sensitive to moisture on the surfaces between the plates. By cooling one plate until it reaches its dew point, the signal is detected and received by the electronic system. Cooling of the capacitor plate is accomplished by means of a thermoelectric cooler.

  • Patent number: 4513961
Abstract: An improvement in a toggle bar for brachiation in place by the upper limbs for purposes of exercise and health, including an elongated tubular middle-section bar having a handle defining an enclosed opening mounted upon both ends. A J-shaped hook is mounted at the mid-section of the bar for reception of a suspended support whereby the bar is pivotally movable with respect thereto. In modification, a toggle bar wherein the entire bar is made from one continuous tubular bar.

  • Patent number: 4425013
Abstract: A system for locking either all or all but one of the drawers of a file cabinet. A bar rides in a groove at the interior of the shell of the cabinet. A plurality of drawer locks is engaged to the bar, each drawer lock including inclined and vertical surfaces at its rear edge. A rail having a key end is positioned at the side of each drawer so that the blunt end of the key faces the inclined surfaces of an associated drawer lock when all drawers are closed. The engagement of the blunt end with the opposed inclined surface of a lock raises the bar so that the blunt ends of the rail members associated with the remaining drawers abut and are locked by the vertical surfaces of the associated drawer locks. A block at the top of the bar abuts the cylinder of a cabinet lock when extended to prevent the vertical movement of the bar, locking all drawers.

  • Patent number: 4031848
Abstract: An inertial performance indicator comprisesA. a carrier having a downwardly dished upper surface,B. a ball supported on said surface in a rest position, the ball adapted to be bodily displaced out of said rest position in response to predetermined acceleration of the carrier in a generally horizontal direction, andC. means to adjustably support and level said carrier so that said upper surface is approximately level relative to horizontal.
