  • Patent number: 11970319
Abstract: A closure for use with a container in which the closure includes a polymeric top portion and a polymeric annular skirt portion. The skirt portion depends from the top portion. The skirt portion includes exterior and interior surfaces. The interior surface of the skirt portion includes crushable ribs and anti-rotational lugs. The crushable ribs are configured to be crushed when the closure is applied to the container so as to prevent or inhibit axial movement of the closure with respect to the container by forming an interference fit. At least one of the plurality of anti-rotational lugs prevents or inhibits rotational movement of the closure with respect to the container such that the closure remains on the container.

  • Publication number: 20230365308
Abstract: A child-resistant closure includes a polymeric top portion, a polymeric annular portion and a slidable lid. The polymeric top portion has an exterior surface. The polymeric top portion further includes a slide portal with a retention wall and at least one depression formed in a top surface thereof. The slide portal forms an aperture. The skirt portion depends from the polymeric top portion. The slidable lid includes at least one spring-retention mechanism and a retention projection extending from the slidable lid. The spring-retention mechanism is configured to be located in the depression when the closure is in a closed position. The slidable lid is configured to slide along the slide portal. The retention projection in conjunction with the retention wall assists in inhibiting removal of the slidable lid from the remainder of the closure.

  • Publication number: 20140235995
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are described for automatically generating a transformation matrix for correlating images from an ultrasound modality with images from another modality (or with ultrasound images acquired at a different point in time). Ultrasound volumetric data and volumetric data yielded from another image modality are examined to identify and/or extract features. The transformation matrix is automatically generated, or populated, based at least in part upon common features that are identified in both the ultrasound volumetric data and the volumetric data yielded from the other image modality. The transformation matrix can then be used to correlate images from the different modalities (e.g., to display a CT image of an object next to an ultrasound image of the object, where the images are substantially similar to one another even though they were acquired using different modalities).

  • Patent number: 8003888
Abstract: An electrical junction assembly for a wiring harness (10) couples one or more branch wires (18) to a main trunk line (12). The junction assembly includes a housing (16) having an internal cavity into which is received first (34) and second (36) trunk terminals which interlock with one another and establish electrical conductivity therethrough. A branch wire (18) is inserted into the housing (16) through a branch opening (28). The branch wire (18) has a branch terminal (48) on its end which is adapted to mechanically connect to the interlocked first (34) and second (36) trunk terminals, thereby establishing electrical conductivity between the branch wire (18) and the main trunk line (12). A mounting member (56) is formed integrally on the housing (16) to provide a secure connection to a suitable mounting structure (58). A hook (40) within the cavity in the housing (16) automatically engages and securely retains the second trunk terminal (36) when inserted into a full operative position.
