  • Publication number: 20160169650
Abstract: A fuse of a missile has a power supply system containing a power supply unit with at least one hot side, at least one cold side and at least one thermo generator disposed between the hot and cold sides. In order to achieve rapid and reliable electricity generation for electrical units of the fuse, it is proposed that the power supply unit contain a pyro unit on its at least one hot side for producing heat by a combustion process.

  • Patent number: 8820241
Abstract: A safety device for a fuze of a projectile that includes a detonating device for detonating the fuze. The safety device has a safety unit with a processor for safeguarding a detonation process of the detonating device. The safety unit contains a sensor unit configured to output a disengagement signal at a predetermined acceleration state. The processor is set up to output a control signal to release the safety unit in accordance with the presence of the disengagement signal. A low-acceleration state of the flight of the projectile can thus be detected and used as release parameter.

  • Patent number: 7475574
Abstract: A washing machine comprises a tank for loading washing fluid and items to be washed and a control adapted to carry out a predetermined washing program. The washing machine comprises a first electrode electrically insulated from the washing fluid and a sensor connected to the first electrode for detecting a value of a sensor formed by the first electrode and by the washing fluid acting as a second electrode, the value being fed to the control in order to control and/or adjust the washing program.

  • Patent number: 4232226
Abstract: The installation comprises a support table for a patient, a plurality of x-ray sources or similar radiation sources, arranged in a series or planar array, with step-by-step activation of the radiation sources in any desired sequence. The beam of rays and the image field of the image detection installation are shifted in mutually opposite directions, so that sharply defined images are formed of only those details disposed in a specified longitudinal layer of the body as determined by the location of the rotational axis of the beam of rays. In the radiation path of the beam of rays of every radiation source, a beam path control device is arranged for shifting the beam path in relation to a central axis of the radiation source system and of the image pickup system, in dependence upon a laminographic height alteration.

  • Patent number: 4112304
Abstract: An x-ray film cassette has a window for illuminating patient data and a slide movable over the window to shut out light. A counterpoise of ferromagnetic material is provided for locking the slide in a closed position and which can be released magnetically. The counterpoise is pivotably mounted about a tilt axis passing through its center of gravity. A spring member is provided for biasing the counterpoise such that an end face is positioned within the window to prevent movement of the slide.
