The resins have long pot lives and cure into low density resin matrices in composite structures. The resin matrices can have select mechanical properties of desired character through ingredient choice.

    Abstract: A composite laminate structure is provided which is suitable for use as a fuser blanket in copiers or reproducers which are based on heat fixing of images on receptor surfaces. The structure is comprised of a dimensionally stable, heat conductive substrate having bonded to one surface thereof a thin, resiliently compressible layer of a fluorinated elastomeric polymer and an outer layer bonded thereto of a thin, resiliently compressible silicone elastomer.
