    Abstract: A beach umbrella support is provided including a rigid hollow post. Also included is a spiral flange fixedly coupled to an outer surface of the post. At least one ear is fixedly coupled to the post and further fixed with respect to the flange for affording leverage. An umbrella rod is removably mounted within a top end of the post for being supported by the post.
