  • Patent number: 7806301
Abstract: A pump for dispensing soap from a container in a dispenser, the pump including a base, a flexible dome attached to the base defining a chamber therebetween, an inlet and an outlet formed in the base and opening into the chamber, the inlet being in fluid communication with the container, and wherein the dome has a fold line that facilitates collapsing of the dome. The dome may include an inwardly extending flange that selectively closes the inlet.

  • Patent number: 6966463
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing fluid from a container securely mounted to a wall surface including a base mounting plate and a cover attached to the base mounting plate; the cover is capable of movement between open and closed positions relative to the base mounting plate; a mini-shelf unit having a main body portion and a hook portion is attached to the base mounting plate via a connecting bracket having an L-shape; the main body portion and hook portion are segregated by a hump, and the main body portion slopes downwardly toward the hook portion; the hook portion is provided with an upwardly extending hook; and liquid received on the mini-shelf unit drains around the hump, and into a hole provided in the hook portion.

  • Patent number: 6877642
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing liquid from a collapsible bag has a back plate and a cover hingedly attached thereto for movement between open and closed positions. The back plate carries a bag retainer and pump support which receives the bag which, in turn, carries a collapsible dome-type pump on its front surface adjacent its bottom edge. The pump includes a transparent collapsible dome and the dispenser cover includes a push bar for collapsing the dome to expel material. The push bar also has a clear window overlying the collapsible dome when the cover is closed.

  • Patent number: 6619512
Abstract: A lock-out mechanism for use with a dispenser having a back plate and a cover hingedly attached thereto for receipt of a refill container with an attached pump. The cover carries a pressure member in the form of a push bar having a pump activating projection which normally activates the pump by engaging a collapsible portion thereof when the push bar is activated and the refill cartridge and pump are properly seated within the dispenser. The push bar also carries an interference rib on the push bar which projects therefrom and engages a non collapsible portion of the pump and prevents the pump activating projection from engaging the collapsible portion of the pump when the pump is misseated in the dispenser.

  • Patent number: 6216916
Abstract: A pump for dispensing fluid from a dispenser includes a base in fluid communication with a source of fluid carried by the dispenser and with the atmosphere. The pump includes a base attachable to the source of fluid, a flexible transparent dome attachable to the base in overlying relationship therewith and in fluid-tight relationship, and a retainer attachable to the base in partial overlying relationship with the dome to retain the dome on the base. The pump also includes valves for selectively opening and closing the pump to fluid communication with the source of fluid and the ambient atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 5518436
Abstract: A stretchable toy figure which preferably has the ability to be altered from a first, unposable state to a second, posable state by reducing the pressure on the interior of the toy figure. The reduced pressure can also preferably alter the appearance of the toy figure. A manifold assembly for reducing the pressure on the interior of a toy figure includes two one-way valves. A valve through which air may be removed from the interior of the manifold includes a knob adapted to be associated with a device for reducing pressure. A second valve, when opened by a switch, allows air to enter the interior of the manifold when the pressure therein is below ambient pressure. The toy figure can alternatively utilize a single, two-way valve.

  • Patent number: 4822316
Abstract: A toy vehicle with a joint structure supporting the wheels of the toy vehicle in a manner that enables the vehicle and its wheels to be placed in a variety of unique and attractive orientations. The toy vehicle has a chassis and at least three wheels connected with the chassis by means of the joint structure. The joint structure enables each wheel to be independently adjusted relative to the chassis to selectively adjust the relative orientation of the chassis and one or more of the wheels. The joint structure can be adjusted by a manually applied torque, but when the joint structure is in an adjusted position, it can maintain its adjusted position under gravitational/inertial forces applied to it by the toy vehicle. Thus, the joint can be "adjustably retained" in selected adjusted position.
