  • Publication number: 20210094651
Abstract: A personal mobility vehicle, such as a scooter, includes at least one battery and motor for powering at least one driven wheel. The vehicle also includes a braking assembly configured to isolate the motor from the at least one driven wheel such that power is terminated from the motor to the at least one wheel in response to a user engaging a braking assembly of the vehicle. The vehicle can include a switch or position sensor that interacts with the braking assembly to initiate the isolation of the motor from the at least one driven wheel and the switch or position sensor preferably is inaccessible to the foot of the user.

  • Publication number: 20200339212
Abstract: A variety of scooters are disclosed. In some embodiments, a scooter can include a pivot assembly that allows the scooter to move between a folded and unfolded configuration. The pivot assembly can include a knob that frees a pin from a bracket to allow the scooter to fold. Turing the knob increases compressive forces on elements of the pivot assembly to reduce rattling noise and wobbling movement when the scooter is in use. Some embodiments of the scooter can include a center stand that can be deployed from either side of the scooter deck to stabilize the scooter when the scooter is stationary. Certain embodiments have an ergonomic handgrip.

  • Publication number: 20200068413
Abstract: Aspects of the embodiments are directed to systems, methods, and computer program products for displaying floorplans and electromagnetic (EM) emissions to facilitate EM emission design within the floorplan. The display of the floorplan and EM emissions can be performed on a wearable device, such as a augmented reality implement or virtual reality implement. The implement can also facilitate a configuration, manipulation, and revision of floorplan and EM emitter positioning, to allow an operator to more precisely configure EM emitter placement and selection.
