  • Patent number: 9470511
Abstract: A method for performing point-to-point measurements includes (i) determining a distance to a first point and obtaining an image at a first pose, and (ii) determining a distance to a second point and obtaining an image at a second pose. The images have an overlapping portion. A change in pose between the first pose and the second pose is determined using observed changes between common features in the overlapping portion of the images and a scale associated with the images. A distance between the first point and the second point is determined based on the first distance, the second distance, and the change in pose between the first pose and the second pose.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 12, 2013
Date of Patent: October 18, 2016
    Assignee: Trimble Navigation Limited
Inventors: Kurtis Maynard, Gregory C. Best, Robert Hanks, Hongbo Teng

  • Patent number: 7107934
Abstract: A transportable litter box has a container body and a lid removably received over an open end of the container body. The container body has wheels rotatably connected thereto at an end opposite the open end. The lid has an opening therein suitable for allowing an animal to enter the container body therethrough. A support structure is connected to the lid so as to retain a bag in an open configuration within the container body regardless of the orientation of the container body. The wheels are formed of wheel halves hingedly connected together over an axle.

  • Patent number: 6662748
Abstract: A litter box apparatus having a container with an open top and a closed bottom, a lid detachably affixed over the open top of the container and having a hole formed therein, a handle affixed to the container and extending outwardly beyond the lid, and a pair of wheels rotatably mounted adjacent to the closed bottom in a location directly below the handle. A liner having a bag shape is received within the container. At least one support member is affixed to the lid and extends into the container so as to retain the liner adjacent to a side wall thereof.

  • Patent number: 6513265
Abstract: A shoe having a sole, an upper affixed to the sole and extending upwardly therefrom, a tongue fixedly and nonreleasably secured to the upper, an air pump affixed to the toe portion of the upper, a bladder in valved communication with an exhaust of the air pump and affixed to a surface of the tongue, and a deflator affixed to a heel portion of the upper. The deflator is connected in valved relationship to the bladder. A tubing extends along a surface of the upper from the bladder to the deflator. The bladder is inflatable by an action of the air pump. The deflator includes a valve having a pin extending upwardly therefrom and a flexible flap overlying the top of the pin. A downward pressure on the flexible flap will cause air pressure within the bladder to be released.

  • Patent number: 4966507
Abstract: A router jig comprising a baseplate having an open interior, a first horizontal guide adjustably attached to the baseplate, a first vertical guide attached to the baseplate, and a clamp adjustably fastened to the baseplate for receiving a workpiece. Both the first horizontal guide and the first vertical guide extend across the open interior of the baseplate. A second horizontal guide is also adjustably attached to the baseplate. This second horizontal guide extends across the open interior of the baseplate and is in adjustable parallel relationship to the first horizontal guide. A second vertical guide is also adjustably attached to the baseplate so as to be in adjustable parallel relationship to the first vertical guide. The clamp includes a first board and a second board that are adjustably fastened to the underside of the baseplate. The clamp includes a suitable adjustment mechanism for fixing the position of the workpiece within the clamp.
