  • Publication number: 20170009557
Abstract: Systems and methods for processing solid wastes from oil field operations are described, which may include or encompass removal of wastes from oil tanks, solid particle size reduction and recovery, and disposal by injection into a subterranean formation. Removal of liquefied solid wastes from oil tanks may be achieved by a washout and vacuum conveyance system. Solid wastes may be processed through a particle size reduction system. The particle size reduction system may include one or more separators each having an appropriate particle size threshold, one or more slurry tanks, an apparatus such as a grinder configured for reducing particle size, and one or more slurry pumps that transfer the slurry through one or more recirculation circuits or transfer conduits. Particle size may be further reduced by high velocity transport through the recirculation circuits. The processed slurry may be disposed of by re-injection into a subterranean injection zone.

  • Patent number: 9277092
Abstract: A configurable document server is described. In some embodiments, the configurable document server can enable administrators to set an option that prevents documents from being routed to users when the configurable document server experiences some types of errors. When the configurable document server determines that such an error condition exists, it may prevent the routing of the corresponding document. By preventing documents causing errors from being routed, the configurable document server enables administrators to improve the accuracy of document workflow and thereby improve productivity of users.

  • Publication number: 20070274960
Abstract: The present invention provides novel stem cell compositions having significant therapeutic and practical advantages, as well as methods of preparing and using such compositions for the treatment and prevention of injury and disease in patients. The invention may be applied to stem cell populations isolated from a wide variety of animals, including humans, and tissues. In particular applications, the invention is used to prepare a stem cell composition from a collagen-based tissue, such as adipose tissue, isolated from a patient, and the stem cell composition is subsequently provided to a site of actual or potential injury in the patient. The invention further includes related kits comprising the stem cell compositions, which are remarkably stable and retain viability and efficacy during storage and shipment.

  • Publication number: 20070239738
Abstract: A method and apparatus (100) are provided for sorting character strings having complex characters, like accented characters for example. Complex characters having a base character and a linguistic modifier are stored (201) in decomposed form, with the base character being stored as a base data element (205) and the modifier being stored as a modifier data element (206). Elements are selected from two or more character strings and are compared (202) by referencing a look-up table (204) listing the priorities of the various elements. The character strings are then sorted (203) according to these priorities. When implemented in a computational device (101) having modifier keys (106) and character keys (105), a keypad activity detection module (107) detects actuation of keys and stores the base data elements and modifier data elements. A sort module (101) then sorts the corresponding character strings by comparing elements in an atomic, piecewise fashion by referencing the look-up table (204).
