  • Publication number: 20220105570
Abstract: A 3D printing system includes a print engine, a powder dispenser, and a controller. The print engine includes a chassis defining an inner chamber with a docking chamber, a build box with a build plate, an energy beam system, and a powder track coater (PTC) coupled to a gantry. The controller is configured to: (A) operate the gantry and the PTC to selectively dispense a track of powder over the build plate, (B) operate the gantry to transport the PTC to the docking station, (C) operate the energy beam system to selectively fuse the track of powder, and (D) concurrent with operating the energy beam to (D1) measure a level of powder in the PTC and (D2) if the level of powder in the PTC is below a predetermined threshold, operate the powder dispenser to transfer a controlled volume of powder to the PTC.

  • Patent number: 10726081
Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a processor of a computing device, a first search query during editing of a design, the first search query including at least a first search term. The method also includes identifying at least one style attribute associated with the design and searching at least one database based on the first search term, the at least one style attribute, or a combination thereof, to generate search results. The method further includes outputting the search results. A first search result of the search results is ranked higher than a second search result of the search results based on a determination that the first search result more closely matches the at least one style attribute associated with the design than the second search result.

  • Publication number: 20070170755
Abstract: A seat assembly for a vehicle includes a first seat back and a second seat back. The seat backs are spaced apart to define a gap therebetween. Each seat back is pivotally coupled in the vehicle for independent angular adjustment relative to each other. Each of the first and second seat backs have a trim cover. The trim cover of at least one of the seat backs has a flap that conceals the gap between the seat backs. The flap is flexible to accomodate the independent angular adjustment of the seat backs relative to each other.

  • Publication number: 20070096493
Abstract: A bracket assembly allows assembly of a seat back frame to an attachment bar in a vehicle. The bracket assembly includes a locating bracket and a hook. The locating bracket is fixedly secured to the seat back frame. The locating bracket has a slot for receiving the attachment bar therein. The locating bracket has a bore adapted for lockingly engaging a fastener. The hook is pivotally coupled to the locating bracket for movement between a receiving position in which the hook is presented for hooking engagement with the attachment bar and a locked position in which the attachment bar is constrained between the hook and the slot of the locating bracket. The hook has a hole. The bore of the locating bracket and the hole of the hook are aligned in the locked position, such that the fastener can be inserted therethrough to retain the hook in the locked position.

  • Publication number: 20070096511
Abstract: A rear seat assembly is for use in an automotive vehicle having a package shelf includes a generally horizontal seat cushion, a seat back and a flap. The seat cushion is fixedly secured to the vehicle. The seat back is pivotally coupled to the vehicle for movement between a plurality of seating positions relative to the seat cushion. The seat back has a rear surface spaced apart from the package shelf to define a gap therebetween. The flap is fixedly secured to the rear surface of the seat back. The flap has a front wall adapted to be fixedly secured to the rear surface of the seat back. The front wall has an upper edge. An upper wall extends outwardly from the upper edge of the front wall for substantially concealing the gap while the seat back is in any one of the seating positions.

  • Publication number: 20060170233
Abstract: An apparatus provides a pass-through between the passenger compartment and the cargo space of a vehicle. The apparatus includes a front portion, the front portion surrounding a front opening of a central aperture, and a flange extending rearward of the front portion, the flange surrounding the central aperture and defining a rear opening of the central aperture. A portion of the flange protrudes into the cargo space. The apparatus is mechanically associated with the seat so that, as the seat reclines, the apparatus moves in relation to the body of the vehicle, and the flange protrudes further into the cargo space as the seat is reclined.

  • Publication number: 20030038221
Abstract: A powered automotive seat. The powered automotive seat includes an upper seat frame and a lower seat frame. The upper seat frame is attached to the lower seat frame. The lower seat frame is attached to a suspension base assembly. The suspension base assembly includes a lower base mountable on the floor of an automotive vehicle, an upper base capable of receiving the lower seat frame and a pair of base arms attaching the upper base to the lower base. An air spring is attached between the upper base and the lower base. An automatic control unit selectively decreases and increases air pressure in the air spring. The air spring extends and contracts in response to changes in air pressure by the automatic control unit.
