According to a first aspect, there is provided a damping structure (2) for a wave energy conversion device (1). The structure comprises a fixed member (6), and a damping member (7) having a reversible non-linear stress-strain response. The present invention also relates to a mooring component (2) for a mooring system (1) and to a method for manufacturing a mooring component (2). The component comprises a deformable element (6) having a reversible non-linear stress-strain response, wherein the response is a composite reversible non-linear stress-strain response.

The light is generated by a chemiluminescent dye configured to radiate light in the specific wavelength required by a particular phototherapy treatment. The wavelength of light emitted by this planar device is such that some disorders of health requiring phototherapy are effectively treated. Disorders falling into this category include elevated bilirubin jaundice, circadian rhythm anomalies, mood disorders and potentially a reduction in injury or surgically related bruise healing time.

Each hub executes a relay service to exchange data with at least one other hub using a hub protocol, in which network a service controller operates to determine dynamically which hub executes a service in response to a request form a service from a host. Thus, the network is not dependent upon the operation of a single hub; and the service controller can cause a connection service to operate on a selected one of a plurality of hubs in dependence upon loading and/or availability.
