  • Publication number: 20080048518
Abstract: A hammer brush to be supported in pivoting fashion in a brush holder of an electric machine is equipped with a leaf spring which includes a fastening section for attachment to the brush holder an arm connected to the fastening section to which a carbon brush is fastened, and a section at the end of the arm which is bent at an angle toward the fastening section. The section at the end of the arm is bent toward the side of the arm oriented away from the carbon brush and is embodied as resilient.

  • Publication number: 20080030099
Abstract: A carbon brush for an electrical machine for pivotable support on a brush holder of the electrical machine includes a bearing portion embodied on the carbon brush itself for pivotably supporting the carbon brush. This can be done in the form of a bore of a cylindrical portion. This has the advantage that the position of the carbon brush relative to the commutator does not vary especially markedly even in the event of major temperature fluctuations. Moreover, the carbon brush can be well positioned in a brush holder which assures a precise association with the commutator.

  • Publication number: 20020163279
Abstract: An actuator in the prior art includes a plug contact, which is disposed on a printed circuit board, and also includes a brush holder, which is not disposed on the printed circuit board but is electrically connected to it. This has the disadvantage of requiring additional electrical connections. In an actuator (1) of the invention, the brush holder (41) is loosely coupled to the printed circuit board (31) and secured to a housing (9), so that electrical connections of the brush holder (41) and printed circuit board (31) are produced simply and without additional means.
